2 years ago I started freelancing and I couldn’t have done it without your videos. I remember back when you were so shy on camera and to see how you have grown as an artist and became more comfortable on camera is truly inspiring. Thank you Jesse🤝
Hi ,I'm from India and I'm so glad to see the graphic designers like you from other countries focus only on designing, not other things .In India, the whole industry is cluttered. If you live in India and want to become a graphic designer, you need to know everything including video editing ,social media marketing ,3d animation, Ui/Ux ,bla bla bla while applying for an entry level job position. The number of tools they ask you to know is endless. And the salary they provide for all of these is too less. Most of the senior designers here wouldn't tell you the actual process ,instead they would just focus on selling their courses by selling dreams .I think it's better to leave India if I have a true passion for designing and want to do something according to my own interest.
Hey, just wanted to say I'm starting a personal project where me and my friends recreate an album cover of an album we like for every letter in alphabet, my biggest inspiration for this project are you and struthless, love ya guys for that :D (btw the quality of your contet truly went up, you're doing an amazing job jesse, keep it up!)
I always enjoy seeing your Day in the Life vids Jesse, love to see the daily routine and how you set aside specific time for work and play. Loved the top 5 albums section! I just moved recently and I finally got my turn table all set up. I got the new Twenty One Pilots Clancy album and that's been a favorite lately. Cool to see you have some cassettes too, I was thinking about collecting some of my fav bands. I graduated with my Graphic and Web design degree this year and you're definitely helped inspire me along the way. I eventually want to get into freelance and you've given some great advice about that, so thank you!
Self-teaching (not "taught") graphic designer from Texas here. I've just had your videos playing in the background as I've been working on a color palette project for fun, but some artists you should definitely listen to if you haven't already that are my faves right now: Rehash (YOUNG kids playing dope music that I stumbled across on TikTok lol), Evening Elephants ("Life is Swell + "Snow on the Bluff"), Xolo ("Moonless"), Temple of Angels ("Star-Shaped Eyes), and Island of Love ("Big Whale" + "Losing Streak"). Also been on some real sad girl shit and listening to a lot of Jeff Buckley, The Sundays, and All Get Out's album The Season which will forever remain top 5, probably. Anyway, thank you for all of your insight and for being easy on the ears and not overstimulating me while actively working on stuff hahaha.
I would recommend getting an assistant , it’s important to know when to delegate and with so many avenues coming together it could be a nice weight off
Jesse, Your Album Cover Video from a few months back made Me Consider youtube. I posted my first video yesterday and I'm a graphics designer that been doing it for close to a decade.
i was graphic designer here, i lost all my clients. photoshop illustrator and Indesign i know... i had design ID CARDS and LOGOS. I dont know how to continue with this without work now.
Im sorry if this is too personal but do u ever as a graphic designer feel lonely working from home and kind of like missing out on day to day work setting interactions ? I wanna know how its like doing this full time ..
I'm not him, but I’m much happier working from home. Freelancing is ideal for an introvert like me. Usually, it’s extroverts who dislike working solo or from home.
it was "man of the world" by Roof. All the music from this vid i got at epidemic sound. Feel free to checkout my pinned comment if you want a free trial.
......... you're the only other person i've heard of whose sandwiches/burgers 'always' fall apart on them. i always seem to have a death grip on them for some reason and literally destroy the bread into pieces + somehow stab my fingers through them. EVERY TIME. then i realized no one else did it...
Successful young designers have no kids or responsibilities about life-changing decisions that impact you and your family on the daily. No appointments to make, after-school activities, or birthday parties! That's why the graphic design industry will always look to young people for creative design. Their still fresh and have had no real stress in their lives!!
that missing link cassette 🔥🔥 just found your channel today, already big fan greetings from switzerland 🏔🐮🧀 p.s didn't know that something like the creator camp exists here🤣
stoked y'all enjoyed this video! A few people asked about music in the comments, all songs are from Epidemic Sound: share.epidemicsound.com/3uhsl8

As a designer, do you feel at risk of losing your career in the future? If you're going to give me a reply، I'll give you a reason، thank you.
Yo Jesse great video, have you thought of creating a discord server so we can all get together as a community and learn from each other?
