Hey everyone! Hope you enjoyed the Canadian edition. I figured, being a Canadian channel we should finally shed some light on the country 🤣 also my bad -- the capital of BC IS Victoria!
In Alberta, I was waiting for my friend outside, meanwhile a random old man came up to me and said 'you ok", I was like yeah why you ask?, He then said "oh I was gonna ask if you needed to use the washroom in my house", because I was moving alot back and forth and it looked like I needed to go. I said oh no I was just waiting for my friend, but thanks for the offer, he then smiled and we both parted ways.
And with Manitoba. I won't watch anymore if their videos. They treated the east coast like PEI and Nova Scotia didn't exist, nor Manitoba. Do all the provinces/ territories or do none. Sad video because of this. Sorry, but I won't be subscribing nor liking this video unless you can acknowledge that you missed some of us.
Québécoise here. ^^ I've met a few Ontarians while still in Quebec, and also in my 6 years working Japan. You're all friendly and awesome people from my experience. ^^
The responses about Ontario hit on the stereotype that Ontarians hate the most, that Ontario = Toronto. The people outside of Toronto hate Toronto just as much as people in other provinces do, in fact probably more.
@@coastaku1954 I think once you get past Brampton and Ajax and Vaughn(all 3 sides of Toronto) it becomes way more white….more country….and more hateful towards Toronto One thing I’ve noticed, it’s usually white people, who love hockey, from say, Orangeville, or Kitchener, who would say these things about Toronto A Vaughn man wouldn’t say the same, same with you as a Sauga man
The guy from Newfoundland sounds like every Irish person I meet in America with a really subtle accent that I don't realize is Irish until fifteen minutes into a conversation.
We all sound like that, his accent sounds like it’s a bit faded you should look up the Newfie accent on TH-cam it’s way stronger and identity to the Irish. We get it actually from the Irish themselves because of our history
I feel it should be pointed out that Newfie accents are very distinctly their own thing -- so, not exactly "Canadian". Actually, as it happens, it's mostly due to the Irish who settled there. So, more like: Ireland, but with Canadian-ized Irish accents. Lol.
@@ALuiza-pm2dp To be fair, and I say this as a 30 year man, born and raised in Newfoundland. Our accents started to fade in the last couple of generations. For the most part you only hear the typical Newfie accent from older people or people from rural communities

Am from Vancouver, moved to Toronto and now in Montreal. Much much prefer Montreal - passes the vibe check with friendly people, great food, and loads of stuff to do. I do miss good sushi though!

I do speak some French so it helps, but as soon as they hear that you don't speak French they'll switch to English, and when I make the comparison to people in Vancouver, Montrealers are way friendlier. I've been invited to more events by friends of friends I just met in Montreal than I ever did in Vancouver!

And I'm a pretty social person and like meeting people/making new friends, so I don't find it creepy at all! I found Vancouver to be quite anti-social, so the social culture in Mtl suits me better :)

The one for Manitoba is the most ridiculous. It is a giant head of a man looking outside and he is staring into the eyes of a giant polar bear head. I’m not Canadian, but for me it’s definitely Ontario. I’m doing a cross country road trip, visiting from the US, starting in Vancouver and I was having such a great time, doing travel blogs, posting regularly about how awesome Canada is, then I got to Ontario and it sucked the joy out of me. That long drive, Winnipeg to Toronto, basically all 2 lane roads! and nothing worth seeing for 16 hours. WTF!!! Then I get to Toronto and it’s all construction. Life is more fast paced, which comes off as rude when I’m going the speed limit and someone is tailgating to the extreme. I’m doing the best I can, but people are coming off as so rude. 🥺

Eh, Quebec people are the only ones in the country that are honest, hence the rude perception. Ask a Quebecer if you're fat, they gonna tell you straight up 'Yeah losing 50 pounds wouldn't hurt you'. Ask the same question from an Ontarian and they will say 'Of cooouuuurse not sweetie! You're beautiful *just* the way you are :)' but once you're gone, they will call you a beached whale behind your back.
That's not.. all that true, depends on the age group. Toronto is pretty rude, most won't even talk to you to even give you that answer. Quebec goes beyond honesty, they're pretty rude and don't really like outsiders.
People in Canada in general are pretty friendly. I find some Torontonians not so friendly and what rubs people the wrong way about them is many are super obnoxious, the GTA isn't a good representation of all Ontario that's for sure. Vancouver mainland and some specific areas of the interior BC are not very friendly, but more socially awkward than anything. Vancouver island ppl on the other hand are super chatty, friendly and sweet. Some Quebecois have a real hate on people not speaking French but it's more the older generation and they are renowned for being arrogant but it's just some of them. Everywhere else people are polite, kind and generally pretty shy. Nova Scotians are basically the same as small town Ontarians as far as the east coast goes. Newfoundlanders are the least shy, friendly and outgoing of all Canadians they are also the most fun.
Coming from a fellow Ontarian, those Ontarians were easily the most irritating of the bunch and reassured me that the rest of the country is less embarrassingly irritating.
Quebec the rudest one? Try the province of Toronto. French Canadians are generally very friendly. Northern Ontario is a really nice place to live. Just don't go to Toronto.

Some Quebecois have a real hate on people not speaking French but it's more the older generation and they are renowned for being arrogant but it's just some of them. Everywhere else people are polite, kind and generally pretty shy. Nova Scotians are basically the same as small town Ontarians as far as the east coast goes. Newfoundlanders are the least shy, friendly and outgoing of all Canadians they are also the most fun.
