- I test some ammo in the Taurus Public Defender Poly today. Winchester SXZ .410 handgun 000 buck, Winchester Defender .410 and Winchester AA .410 8 shot.

Really cool revolver! Thinking of getting one but I’m not sure about the poly. What are your thoughts?
If you want one for hunting and hiking, get a metal framed 3 in cylinder judge.
If you want one for fun and range time mostly, get a polymer judge.
Both are great home defense 👍

Winchester Defender 410 load would have a winner is they ditched the BB's and added a 4th disk. Nice tight pattern out of the 410 handguns (except for the BB's). Federal's 000 Buck for handguns is still the best at keeping tight groups with the Judge or Gov.

My brother has one and it is not accurate at all past 5 yards.
That was my experience as well, and I'm a good shot. Sold it after a single trip to the range and don't regret it

Get a bit deeper into the shadows. We can almost see the black gun. 🙄
People reviewing this gun rarely hit the mark. Any ammo within self defense range being 15 feet perhaps will do more than enough to deter or kill depending on the choice of ammo and the intent behind it. If you don’t want to kill someone then birdshot with a big spread will never miss. To say something is useless or only good for snakes is just silly. You can literally put salt n pepper rounds in this gun. Or other less than lethal ammo. Or RIP bullets. Haters gona hate though.

Taurus is junk. Ive thrown a couple away rather than try to get them fixed. The quality control is not there. I do like the concept of the judge family S&W makes a quality gun in the governer.

Midway usa I order all my ammo from there 45 long colt and 410 at reasonable price get 10 rd box of pdx1 for 19$ when the gun stores asking almost 35 but I order all my ammo there fast delivery too buy my beowulf and 300blk there also
The judge is a dumb gimmick gun. If you shooting 45lc 357 better and lighter. 410 out of revolver is dumb.

@@maydowitdadraco problem isn't that it's fun. Problem is it's marketed to fools that think it's some God like gun. When in reality it's snake gun at very best and overpriced one at that. And at worst some idiot is going be firing shotgun shells out of it and hit someone or something he shouldn't. Deady dumb gun period.
