This happened to my 03 SER Spec - V, took the fender liner off because I lowered the car. Just to find out the reservoir was just barely hanging up with the wires. Learned everything I needed to know! Great video got my sub.

When I read both of owner's manual and repair/service manual, and looking at the pictures given, there is engine coolant drain plug as well as two air relief plugs. But, until now, I haven't been able to find the locations in my car. I can only flush the radiator. I need to flush from the engine, too.
Can you show me the location for those plugs I mention ? You may as well do a video on how to flush coolant completely from both the engine and the radiator (although I have already known about the later).

Thanks, this confirms my thought that removing washer reservoir and its pump for Nissan Sentra/Sunny is far from easy, unlike in other cars.
    I have several questions :
    1. It seems that to open the fender, we have to remove the wheel first. So, it means that we need to jack up the car.
Can we open the fender without doing these things ?
    2. I probably also need to check the whole tube (hose) for any defect, from the reservoir end to the nozzle . When seeing the path for the whole tubing, it seems that I have to remove the front side cover (wing).
    3. Cannot we alter the location/arrangement for the reservoir so that we can easily get access to it every time we need to. I know the design might preclude it. We know some people, esp ricers, do unnecessary modifications for their cars : change mufflers, etc.
So I think it would be great if we can do necessary modification for this reservoir location without affecting other parts around.
Imo, such parts as EVAP canister and its related parts (the parts names are difficult to memorize) which we barely work on should be placed in difficult location instead of the washer reservoir-pump assembly. :)

      1. The car needs to be jacked up & it is much much easier to take the tire off. You can't see the screws with the tire on.
      2. The tube is routed under the hood & would be a pain to replace it. I thought about replacing the tube, it comes in the kit with the reservoir, but in my case it wasn't the problem so I didn't go through the trouble.
      3. Good luck trying to relocate the reservoir. It is molded it shape to fit right under the fender. I don't think you would need to replace it again. Mine lasted 15 yrs so I am not thinking the car will be usable in 15 more.

      Thanks for replying.
My car is an old Sunny 97 (Sunny and Sentra are very similar, right ?). There are some defect on the fender here and there. The rusty screws/bolts seem hard to remove. I think the fender needs replacement, too.

I am not sure on the 97 Sunny, I don't know that car. Thankfully, my car was garage kept before I had it so I didn't have any issues with rust.

Until 2006, Sentra was a rebadged version of Sunny. Sunny was marketed in Asia, Africa and Europe.

I wish I could be of more help. We no longer have the car. See if the manual has a wiper fuse. Some cars do.
