Am a ghanaaian 🇬🇭 currently living in Norcross Georgia.I play with FC MATATA in the UPLS but I want to move forward to NISA or a higher division. Is there any help or advice play? Thank you
I miss the Nasl. I watched almost all the cosmos games in 2017. We could of been seeing the MLS and USL pyramid vs the NASL/NISA/NPSL pyramid. Making the US open so much more exciting. It's a shame what happened to NASL. Hopefully they come back one day. Great video man 👏🏼
I first started watching the cosmos in 2017 on Nasl. I became a big fan. Then after that season was over the league battled it court and pretty much died. I’m thrilled to learn that they are playing in Nisa. I get to watch them again. No offense to the Npsl cosmos, 3rd division is where I draw the line personally
Do you think it is possible to get recruited for an international player? I am currently an international student with student Visa here in the US. Would some of these teams be willing to hire me?
United Soccer League is a soccer business that runs a second (USL Championship), third (USL League 1) and a USASA forth division league (USL League Two). Because USSF does not allow 4th division professional sanctioning, USL League Two is not a professional league. So there is only 4 professional leagues instead of 5. Because there is no pro/rel in United States, MLS, USL and NISA operate as their own separate business. MLS operates as a single entity business where they are majority owner of each franchise club and handle the majority of players contracts. Because of that, MLS have investors/operators rather than club owners. Each investor/operator is a board member of MLS, which makes them joint owners of every MLS franchise club and joint owners of Soccer United Marketing (SUM). Being the investor/operator of the club they bright into the league gives them majority power of their invested club over other members that operate their own club. Now I am not all that familiar with how USL run it's business to well, but I heard they too run things where the league is majority owners of every franchise club. Not sure if they are as extreme as MLS. National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) is the only professional United States soccer league with independently run clubs and encourages a form of fan club ownership. Similar USL, NISA is hoping to expand into multiple leagues within the professional division with a mix of independent clubs and fan owned clubs whether it's fully, majority or minority owned. I don't know what USL's long term goal is. They have a partnership with MLS which allow MLS reserve and youth squad into USL's leagues. NISA have hinted at one day forming a first division league once they manage to form a 2nd division and a semi-pro/amateur division league. US Soccer is a mess.
Best thing you can do for college is play for a club that plays in showcases or tournaments that have exposure to college coaches. Also it is very important to get game footage of you playing to send to coaches. Having a high GPA in high school is also very important and it is something that coaches will look at along with your skill in soccer.
to join the mls is very hard you have to have coaches notice you from the lower ages like high school or college. many players go to usl league 1 or nisa like mentioned in this video and work their way up with the right mindset and agents. Sheldon Tweedie is another pro soccer player/you tuber who explains this in depth.
There is no easy route to becoming a pro player, otherwise everyone will be doing it. You just need to come up with a trusted process that works and stay consistent on it!
NISA - They were only able to field about a quarter of the teams they had initially stated. Like 7 teams this past season. www.nisaofficial.com/standings Also, one of the initial owners died (in 2018 I believe), and the entire league went into the crapper. The players here in Charlotte (Stumptown Athletic) were never paid from what I have heard. There was a total of about half a dozen games (per team) this past season. If you try to contact the league or your local team you will get ZERO response. It is very much a JOKE. But they will be happy to charge you to try-out. For young guys, check out your local USL2 teams which are made up primarily of college kids. Many of these teams are having, or have already, had try-outs for the 2020 season.. And, they are legit and participate in the Hunt Cup.

Would you play in this league? Do you think division 1 leagues would be interested in picking up players from NISA?
Jay Mann I’m pretty sure if you stand out, your worth will be noticed!
@@JodabeniTV thanks for the reply. Appreciate your time.

I’m so glad American pro soccer is expanding

Is it necessary to have a transfermakt profile or is it enough with a good CV and video?
Thanks from Spain
Im not sure yet, but being on the transfer market helps a lot, because you're already in the system!
5 professional soccer leagues in the US , so whats the difference between them all since there is no pro rel ....
Relegation

So what exactly happens or what do u have to do in order to get paid by NISA
You have to be signed by the team
Bro is it hard to join a pdl team?
I’m 16 years old bro any advise
Khalid Ahmed find high level soccer near you and focus on learning the game and your development so in a few years you are prepared for try outs.

Set up a proper plan with goals to attain and then just grind.
What are the Chances of making it in the usl1 and nisa?
You just have to work hard man! If it was easy , everyone would be doing it.
Is this still available to apply
what about USL league 2
how do I get into a NISA academy?
There aren’t too many right now
Is it to late or do I still have a chance
Khalid Ahmed For NISA?
So it’s to late for nisa
What should I do
Can international players apply?
Rajeev Menon anyone can, but you must have a working visa to play/ work in the US
It’s the amateur football of the US
Nisa is sanctioned now, I play for Oakland roots. More teams joining
Thats Fantastic!!!! I will make a video over this. Thank you

If the mls sucks already, how hard would it be to join the 3rd or second division lolol. What a joke if a div.
Well I haven't seen many people who say the MLS sucks and actually make it into the MLS .
It’s not north it’s national
Can you give me a shoutout?
