Finally someone said it. I don't like summer for those very reasons, but I think it's such a great time to read to due the fact that many are on vacation.

another good summer book recommendation: one true loves by elise bryant!! it’s about lenore going on a cruise and she gets in an argument with a stranger named alex and their families become friends so they have to spend time together. i won’t say anything more abt the book to not spoil but i LOVED it so much i rated 5 stars!!!

Whenever there are really detailed descriptions of anything I also appreciate it. If there isn't one I literally have nothing going on in my brain and I have no idea what I should be picturing. Whenever I see stuff on tiktok similar to what you see, I also feel like I do not see the same thing. I feel like there are plenty of people that are like that, but they don't really say anything about it.

One Italian Summer is a 5 star for me. It hits differently for those who have experience loss of a loved one.
I'm about 40% into "do I know you" and may be putting into my DNF que.
Reading "happy place" and enjoying it.
Trying to save "meet me at the lake" until I go to Northern MN in June.

Hi Des! I live in the UK and we are waiting on the paperback release of The Ballad of Never After which is next month. That's why your books are different sizes! At the end of June a smaller paperback edition of The Ballad is gonna be released that'll match the size of the pink Once Upon a Broken Heart. The larger copy you have looks like a proof or airport copy - the art work is the same as the UK hardback release. Hope that helps 🩷

Pretty sure that the ballad of never after is a different size because the official paperback isn't out yet. If it were the official paperback, it would be the same size, but these are the weird paperbacks that come out in the same time as the hardcovers and are...I literally call them paperback hardcovers, because the size and all is the same as a hardcover but for some reason it's also a paperback...they have a specific name I just forgot that name lmao. The official paperback would probably be the same size but I am pretty sure that's not out yet

Books make me so happy. It’s not even funny, my mom already made me confess that I have a book problem. I’m still a teen so when I get money I save some then I spend the rest on books then take the money out my savings and spend that on books… Destiny and I would be a recipe for disaster in a book store😅❤

I just read Travis by Mia Sheridan and would definitely recommend as a summer read! I didn’t have high hopes because I hated Travis in Archers Voice, but it is a great redemption story and takes place over the summer in Pelion 😊
For the longest time I thought she was saying “this is a hulky romance” and I was like omg what does that even mean but I recently realized it’s actually just how she pronounces “hockey” lol and I legit love it so much
