I've been watching you for 4 years now and every time you have a new video my heart leaps with excitement, thank you friend for creating beautiful things for others to enjoy 🌻🌺🌼🌿
📚📚📚 THE PASTURES OF HEAVEN, EAST OF EDEN, THE WAYWARD BUS …JOHN STEINBECK stole my heart 40 years ago, when I was 15 years old and as I text this I’m looking at my exact same bookshelf with the exact same beloved books I read during my teenage years … These books were old when I gifted them and I just sink back into my dog bed made for people and inhale these precious books - there is nothing like the smell of an old book, especially one you have had for most of your life ! It smells like your life and an old library- intoxicating ! So if you say you’ve already read John Steinbeck, have you reread John Steinbeck in your 20s, 30s, 40s, every decade it’s like reading a new book, because I’m a new creation and I see and relate to new things each time. Oh how I love the classics … I savor them … Mark Twain, DH Lawrence, William Faulkner …I think even Tom Robbin’s is a classic now - Even Cowgirls get the Blues … Oh yes, you beautiful sweet pixie angelic young lady, I truly hope you take a trip thru John Steinbeck again and again … get these books, get ‘em old and keep them and when you are 55 like me, you’ll understand. You are absolutely wonderful, been watching your channel with my daughters for years. You also look like family to us, I’m like she could easily be one of my daughters. You are just precious ! You have shown me some very fun books that I have truly enjoyed, thank you. We recently did a Tour De France 🇫🇷 puzzle ( off Amazon ) it was 1,000 pieces and came out sooo gorgeous we puzzle glued it and framed it for Grandpa who we did this puzzle with for his birthday, so what a memory for us all ! I’d buy any of your art you made into a puzzle, it’s a great idea ! This Tour De France puzzle was retro and just looked so good framed ! Enjoy th red sheer genius of John Steinbeck Pastures of Heaven - it’s harrowing and utterly beautiful ! Much love 💕
Morgan, I paused your video and purchased Olivetti. When I was eight years old my mum brought me an Olivetti type writer. I have wonderful memories of mum teaching me how to type. So I just ‘had to have’ this book. Thank you for sharing and I went straight back to your video 💛
Agreed!! Reading outside on a nice warm day with a bit of breeze, especially in the early hours, is such a nice thing to do :). Love your artwork- you're so talented!
I am catching up on your videos and recently watched the one about having fun. As a 30-something yr old mom of 5 life can feel so busy and full (which I am super grateful for!). But lately I have been very intentional to read in the evenings, take time with special skin care, make fun sparkling water drinks during the hot summer days, go to a bookshop, save my daily sweet treat to have in the evening chatting with my husband, and painting my nails more… things like these. It has made a huge difference in my energy and attitude! We all need a little fun and joy in our lives, even if it is setting aside just 10-15 min a day. Excited to watch this bookish video!
I know I'm late but I soooo want that illustration as a puzzle, yes, please! I went to a bookstore just on the weekend that could totally be that scene!
Jenn McKinlay has a library cozy mystery series set in New England that I love. They have something called Crafternoon, where people bring the craft they are working on to the meeting room at the library and enjoy some treats, and talk about books. There is also a romance through line like there often is with cozies.
What a great cozy video. I am a kindergarten teacher off for the summer and appreciate getting some cute little reads. It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. It's funny even though I am just a bit into my 50's...we have a kindred spirit.
I would loveeeeeee if your illustrations were made into puzzles. I'd buy them all!! ❤ It's so hard to find really cute puzzles. Your illustrations are truly perfect for it!
If think you would like Anne of the Island, the third Anne of Green Gables Book. I read it last week, very cosy with a slow romance, lot´s of nature descriptions, a cosy house...
Thank you for inspiring me to create my own channel and share videos in hope of creating a community and of becoming comfort for people like you are comfort to me ❤️
I recently went to Oregon for the first time! So beautiful there! We went to Powell’s and it seems like I just missed bumping into you! Love your videos Morgan🩵
It's such a joy to watch your videos. I'm dealing with a lot of sadness and worry right now bc my mom just had surgery to remove her kidney cancer and now she's on the way back to the emergency room in fears of infection in her abdomen. Thanks for putting a smile on my face and yes I'd buy the postcard in puzzle form for sure!
Omg😊 Hyun nam dong bookstore book😊 I have read it in Korean and it is good❤ I am so happy to see it in this channel:) I hope you enjoy it! Sending lots of love from South Korea❤
I GASPED when you said that you're starting throne of glass! I'm currently reading this series too (I'm on queen of shadows) and LOVING it! I read TOG first too and the assassin's blade third which I didn't mind at all, I enjoyed reading it in this order ⚔️🔥🐉 the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo is an excellent book and I also recommend Piranesi, such a magical, enigmatic and beautiful book 📚🌊💙 your video made me so happy Morgan, I will continue reading my book now 💕
I’m reading this series as well and I’m really enjoying it. I did read Assassin’s Blade first and was glad I did - just to get to know the main character more. I hope you love it!
I read assassin’s blade later and was also happy with my choice! I think reading it first versus later you get different surprises from each path. I am on tower of dawn and am so sad it will end soon!
The Summerbook is lovely! the relationship between the girl and her grandmother is lovely. and the nature! Tove Jansson herself lived like that a lot, in a tiny cottage in the Finnish archipelago.
Right now I am reading "Frederica" by Georgette Heyer. I will probably go back and read the Beatrix Potter Cottage Mysteries by Susan Wittig Albert. I read them last summer and I think they are going to be my summer tradition. I miss those characters the way you miss the characters in A Court of Rose and Thorns!
I’m Jessie, the subscriber that met you this last week at the beach! 😊 It was so great to meet you. I just love your videos; they bring me such encouragement. I love this summer reading video! I feel like this summer especially is the summer for reading. I’ve been spending so much time reading while soaking up the sun! And one of my favorite vegan and cruelty free nail polish brands (Olive Ave Polish) released a summer polish collection based solely on books!📚 😊
Jessie!! I was hoping you would comment. You taking the time to stop and tell me how much joy my videos bring you meant the WORLD to me. Also your timing couldn't have been better-- I was with Landon's parents and they don't take my business seriously/see the value in it. It was such a Cinderella moment to receive such wonderful affirmations in front of them! Again and again, thank you ❤️ Sending you light and Love, friend ☀️

I didn’t want to interrupt your evening, but I was just so excited to see you in person!
Right now I’m making my way through the Agatha Christie Midsummer Mysteries collection and loving it! I’m so excited to read some contemporary romance novels this summer ☀️🫶🏻
I was just thinking that the art you showed would look great as a puzzle and you immediately mentioned the possibility of doing it as a puzzle. I got into "puzzling" recently, I've done only two puzzles so far. 😊
Hey Mo! Both my husband and I screeched when you mentioned Wingspan. We bought that boardgame last year and we absolutely love it! It's a nice game to play, you can be competitive, but you can also just build-up your own biomes (filling it up with birds and laying eggs) and the artwork is truly breathtaking. A boardgame TH-camr I like to watch is The Boardgame Garden, she makes videos on different boardgames and it's nice to watch her videos if your trying to see if you'd like a game or not. In regards to reading, I'm currently rereading Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lin...I just bought the second book in her series (Unravel the dusk) and I'm absolutely loving rereading it. I wasn't ever a romance kind of gal, but I'm in the middle of the seven year slip by Ashley position, and I am so pleasantly surprised. the writing is poetic and whimsical, it features a magical apartment, an eccentric Aunt, New York City, and a publishing house. my kind of romance book hehe
@@MorganLongAwww thank you Morgan friend❤️ I just added several of the books you mentioned to my tbr list. I’m definitely most excited with Love at First Book too. Have a wonderful weekend😊
I've read 16 of the books on that Cozy Reads shelf, and many more of them are on my home shelves or TBR waiting to be read. One of my favorite things to do in a bookstore is count how many books in a display I've read. The count varies depending on the genre of course. I was tempted to drive up for the Powell's warehouse sale this weekend but decided not to - then today I saw in the news how long the line was to enter. Wow! I have several of those flower tea cups too, they're so fun. Summer reading plans: I'm currently reading Can't Spell Treason Without Tea and loving it. Next up is The Honey Witch and the newest novella in The Singing Hills Cycle. I'd love to fit in Welcome to the Hyunam-dong Bookshop, if my library has a copy. Also tempted to read my last unread Jane Austen full novel. I might give a Bridgerton book a try even though I've heard mixed things about them. I want to read some summer thrillers for the Summerween readathon. Beyond that, I want to focus on reading books from my shelves that have waited far too long to be chosen. Poor forgotten books, standing on the side of the room, waiting for someone to ask them to dance.
I LOVE the books of Taylor Jenkis Reid! ❤️ I am reading „After I do“ at the moment and love it. „One true loves“ is actually my favorite by this author! It is AMAZING! AND: The puzzle idea is brilliant! I would totally get it!
Hey😊 I just moved into my first appartment and as exciting as it is, the past few days have been pretty hard. I've missed my family so much! And watching your vids and reading books makes me feel like I'm back at home❤
I just finished the 2nd book in the Heartwood Hotel series, and they're absolutely adorable!!! They're extremely easy and quick to read, as they're children novels, but the main character is a tiny mouse who is a maid in a tree filled with other incredible animal characters! It's so good, I highly recommend it! Then, my friends and I are going to read "It Ends With Us" this summer so we can watch the movie in August, you should join us! Also, I would 100% LOVE your illustration in puzzle form!!! 🤩 You're so talented!!! This illustration reminds me of "You've Got Mail", my favorite movie!!! I watched it on the Delta flight last week! It makes my soul so happy! 🥰
If you would like a book recommendation im going to recommend A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic by J. Penner. Its probably on my top 3 best reads list for me this year. It was wonderful, full of pastries and friendship and love and learning to get through imposter syndrome which i struggle with a lot. I loved it. And i love when you go powells it looks like the type of book store id get stuck in because I'd want to look at everything! Happy summer reading!
I recommend Vespertine! It was next to Powerless, and also a Scorpio book, but I love everything by Margaret Rogerson. I just finished rereading her novella and I honestly was thinking about rereading Vespertine even though it isn't a very summer vibe.
Omg you HAVE to read the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo!!! What a fantastic can’t put down summer read! Also I love your dress! You have such lovely fashion I would love a video about how you find unique pieces to curate your wardrobe 😊
Morgan, I love your videos so, so, so much! Your's is my comfort channel and my biggest inspiration for being my authentic self and doing what I enjoy. Thank you so much for doing what you do. The world is a better place because of your sunshiny soul! Much love! 💛
I love your bookish videos! It’s so nice to find out we share some all time favs: The House in the Cerulean Sea, The Night Circus, and The Starless Sea ❤ I also love your flower mug!!
Bless you, Morgan, for the smiles, the cosiness, and the feeling of hugs your videos always bring ❤ I have a book series I'd love to recommend- Pages & Co by Anna James. The first book, Tilly and the book wanderers, was gifted to me and entranced me instantly. The combination of magical bookstore, mysterious family history, small town, (Gilmore Girls vibe) and a young girl making a new friend is just perfection *chefs kiss). Wishing you a glorious summer.
I love to read ocean themed books in the summer, such as The Sea Captains Wife and The Light Between Oceans which are two that I have to read every year and will never be taken out of my summer favorites collection! Happy summer reading to you Morgan!💕

I love Throne of Glass!!! It’s my favorite series by her
I think your illustration would make a lovely puzzle!
Oh I do love your bookstore vlogs.
Portland is on my travel bucklist now just so I can visit Powells
I would love a puzzle version of your beautiful illustration ❤
Morgan, your post card is beautiful! Have a blessed week!
The post card would be so good as a puzzle, I would definitely buy it 😍🧩
Omg you HAVE to read the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo!!!
