Yours is about twice as long as mine and it is evident that you look after yours well, but I've got one too. Living in Northern Canada, I know all too well how a good sized beard helps against the winter cold. That's one reason why I have it.
So true. I usually braid my beard (14") except when it's cold like it is now. I really don't remember what it's like having a bare face. I know I wouldn't like it, especially in the winter. I spend a good deal of time outside in the winter with my job and I love growing icicles in my beard. It feels awesome when my beard is heavy. I do not feel the cold at all. Also it acts as a natural bib. It keeps food and crumbs off my shirt. 😂
So true, I recently shaved my huge beard down as requested by my doctor, so my cpap fits better, and I feel 20 degrees colder at any given moment since its gone.
I have a question, Is say ice/snow/frost bad for the beard for extended periods of time? I work in a freezer that’s generally sitting at -10°F my beard freezes up every night Monday-Friday and I spend about 5.5-6.5 hours with it frozen on my shift. I can say my face itself under the beard is surprisingly not cold at all. I used to wear a mask in there but my beard would freeze to the fabric. I do oil my beard twice a day and use butter at night, balm didn’t seem to help at all as far as freezing goes but I feel like I’m getting more split ends

My eyes are up here! 😂😂😂
Have to remind them sometimes lol
I agree. It definitely does. You can tell a difference when you go from a longer beard to a really short beard.
Facts
Yes most definitely this is coming from someone who works outside year round. It also keeps you cooler in the summer time sounds crazy but it does.
Yeah it is crazy how that works!
its probably similar with hair. I once shaved my head bald in the winter and oh boy was it bad the first time I went out without a hat lol

I grow a beard every fall and winter. I call it mother nature's scarf. I never have a cold face or neck. Well...besides my nose.
