You can use the portable charger at home also, and it’s my less expensive. It’ll charge at 32amps with the 220v adapter plug that it comes with in addition to the 110v plug. Also some electric companies give a steep discounts to their customers on home chargers.

I’m looking at a used Model S. Do you know if Tesla Insurance would cover a 2015 Tesla?
It's possible, I also have a 2015 Model S but I don't Tesla insurance on it
@myks garage , if I drive my Tesla model y for uber, if I charge it daily at my house to 100% would this degrade my battery faster? Also what’s the life span of the battery for model Y?
If you're using the most of the battery daily, it would be fine to charge to 100%. It only hurts the battery if your charge it all the way to 100% and and let it sit and not use it

Yeah it just won't charge as fast

Yeah it’s actually great. Just purchased a long range model Y. Had a trade-in, along with a couple thousand down payment. Low monthly payment as a result.

Mike, can we pay down payment with credit card?
I don't believe so. It has to be a direct wire transfer to them. They make it easy with setting up your bank account with them, but I've never saw the option of doing a credit card.
How do you add your trade to the transaction?
Once you place your order, you download the app and complete the delivery tasks. One of the tasks is indicating whether you have a trade-in or not.
@@Myksgarage What if you go through all this and they don't give you a good trade in price? Do you have any experience with how good they pay vs other companies?

2-3-4 miles per hour is wrong. with simple home plug you must get 5% per hour. 10hours 50% of the battery
Not in my experience
220v 40a will get you about 10% per hour. That’s over 8kw. Household outlet is only 110v 15a 1.65kw about 1/5 of 220 v charger that’s about 2% per hour.

@@Myksgarage You must know the complaints about range anxiety, fire risk, insurance costs, repairs, initial high costs, depreciation, the misinformation on using the words green and clean when it takes hundreds of tons of raw material to make one battery which by the way degrades with time…..etc etc etc.

@@keegan773the battery can be recycled and remade at the end of its life. Even the waste product is renewable unlike with fuel.
