Thank you for taking the time to watch Shelley! I'm still enjoying the Xeomin. I have found that the longer I use it the longer I can wait between touch up's. I could easily go 4 months now.

Girl you look awesome! I’ve had tox done for the past year and had my first experience with Xeomin today. I’m 41 and not looking back! Also, haters gonna hate, don’t worry about them and know you don’t have to explain yourself!

Love it! I agree, I'm still doing it to this day (every 4 months) and its been the best decision for me and my face. But I do love how bothered some people are by it lol. I am not an advocate for everyone getting it. If you like the way you are aging, enjoy that! There is not right or wrong way to do it. I do hope you grow to love Xeomin as much as I do! Honestly I could easily go 5 months now before a touch up on my forehead but I am getting it in my masseter muscles for teeth grinding now too and those muscles are much stronger. So I just top it off on my forehead when I go in for my masseters.

@@MrKongsMom I've had botox and dysport up until now, but certainly don't want to develop resistance to this, which is why I switched. I had my traps injected today to help with neck/shoulder tightness and migraines from that. We'll see how that does as well. Good to know about the 5 months, hopefully I'll get that long!

I'm not quite ready to make the leap (only because I don't really have any lines on my forehead and my 11's aren't etched in *yet*) but when I do decide to go, this information will be put to good use! I've been interested in botox for years and I'm so glad that someone I trust could tell me all about it! Honestly I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out, so to me that's a really good procedure 😉 xo EJ

You look great! I tried botox (I live for juvederm). I wasn't crazy about botox as I only need it in between the eyes. I didn't feel like it worked for me, but Now that it is worn off 😳 I feel that it took physical tension off of my face (think feeling like you are squinting all the time, to that pressure being relieved). It didn't leave me motionless (which I want), but it did stop some movement. I want to try Xeomin based on your statements about it being less ingredients.

I think it is outrageous you to have to come out here on the defensive right from the get-go regarding a Botox like injection. It's so obvious. If it's not for you then don't do it. You want respect for your decision just like Melanie or anyone else wants respect for their decision. It's very simple Live and Let Live. And if that's too hard for some people to handle, then by all means don't watch this type of video. But if you knock someone for their opinion it shows that
you are the one with the problem, not Melanie.

I’ve had Botox the original for the past 3 years in my elevens. 20 units. Lasts for me about 6-8 months as they soften the area and they have never been as deep as where I started... I used Groupon because my dermatologists office had offered 20 units for 135 and then I got additional money off plus used Ebates so I wound up paying around 40... I am in AZ so I don’t recommend this route unless you know the people doing it... I just got lucky since it was my derm dr.

Sis you get any headaches with Xeomin? This is my second day after getting injections and my head does kinda hurt. I usually get regular Dysport and have never had any headaches. Odd because I thought xeomin was supposed to be more better than regular Botox. What’s your opinion on this?

    • @MrKongsMom

Personally I have never had headaches or any other side effects from xeomin. I have been using it for years now. It actually helps me with my migraines I think. I have far less migraines since using tox on a regular basis myself. That being said, I would contact your provider. Do you deal with headaches otherwise? I love Xeomin so much. Honestly its lasting so much longer the more consistently that I am using it. Xeomin does not have the accessory proteins so it is supposed to perform better in that your body does not become accustomed to it.

I just did my forehead and the 11 area for the first time a little less than two weeks ago. I hadn't researched it as much, so I learned some new info. Honestly didn't know there were different kinds. lol. I had the Dystport done at my new dermatologist I found after seeing your video about using the pen. I haven't had a skin cancer check in forever so thank you for the push to go and get checked. My worst issue is the 11, and honestly I have had them since I was in my 20's, and of course they have gotten worse. I live in SW Florida so there is sun is intense here ALL the time. The area I live in also is very much a tourist area so I figured mine would be more, plus it was as the dermatologist's office. I think it was around 450 if I remember correctly. For me, I am pretty happy with my 50 year old self, but when I look in the mirror I focus on those spots. It's all I see in pictures and I know it shouldn't be, so I figured what the heck. I still have 11's but they are softened and from what I hear they will get better the more you do them. I think your results look great, and I wouldn't have known, but I watch the videos on my phone without my glasses. lmao I too, am super super oily and all my makeup would clump up in a sludge in those spots. I am happy with my decision too!

I have the “luxury” of having chronic migraines and I get 2 full bottles(200 units) of Botox( the name brand) every 3 months. With insurance it’s $750/bottle. But! I get it all across my forehead the temples, crows feet, middle of eyebrows then we go into the scalp andides and back of the neck. Concentrating mostly on the left side where my migraines usually start and are the worse. It kicks in around 4 days. It’s tremendously helped my migraines from around 14 a month to 3-5 a month plus’s the added bonus of no wrinkles!!! I’m 51 but have pretty good genes where they weren’t awful but I still had them. I will say this last time we did too much around the end of my eyebrows and it dropped my brows and especially lids quite a bit. And no, you can’t undo Botox. I would’ve never known you had Botox. It came out really good.

Alexa Lou hey there! I get absolutely no side effects and I just have an appt made with my doctor every 3 months. They order the Botox for me. There is also the Botoxsavingsprogram..com that will reimburse you money. Last year I got $1400 back to pay the pharmacy and so far this year I’ve gotten $700. There really is no time commitment except making the time to go to the doctor. It takes about 20 minutes to do and it feels just like tiny tiny needle pricks and sometimes nothing at all. It has been a true lifesaver for sure!!! I hope this helps!! Good luck! Oh. I’m told to sit up for at least 4 hours after so meds don’t move around and don’t press on areas where given or roughly wash your face that day. Pretty much it. I’ve been doing it for about 9 years now.

I just had Dysport last month. It was pricey, but I figured I wouldn’t hesitate to drop $ on skin care, so this isn’t really different. My next step is fillers in my marionette lines.

I actually talked to her about fillers too, not for myself but was just curious. Fascinating stuff to be honest. There is so much out there. They really last a long time.

Have you done any under eye fillers?

    • @MrKongsMom

No I have not. The only filler I have had is in my lips just this past year.

People need to mind their business, if you want to do Botox or not is your money and your decision at the end, good for you! You look good 👍

Thank you! My mindset as well. If someone is not harming or limiting someone else's existence, do what you do. We all have our hobbies, vices and whatnot.

I had it done 3 weeks ago and have had a terrible reaction to it. I now have a headache 80% of the day, my eyelids are swollen and my eyes are burning. Went back yestereday to see the doctor and she said it must be something else. WRONG!! All these symptoms started 2 days after the injections. Bottom line is I look like hell and have to wait for the zeomin to wear off which is 2-3 months. SO SORRY I did this. I never had this problem when I used botox 10 years ago.

Hi there, I’m sorry to hear about your reaction… how are you feeling now? Do you have any underlying conditions?

When I’ve had my eyes done I look weird. Yes your smile is affected. I looked so weird ! Lol

That is what I am afraid of. That frozen look. I am so lucky to not have any eye lines yet. My eyes do get squinty when I smile but they have never set in.... maybe I don't smile enough lol!

Rack rate for BOTOX for migraines is ~$7k per treatment (you need a minimum of 4/year) 💚

    • @MrKongsMom
      @MrKongsMom  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

7 thousand???? OMG. I mean I know you would likely need quite a bit for migraines but how many units do they put in? Does your insurance cover it for you?

    • @SaucerJess

@@MrKongsMom, they do now (as of yesterday!!!) and there is a rebate program from the company that makes it! It'll be ~$1,300/treatment for me now! Not sure how many injection sites, but it's all over my scalp and down my neck. I've shopped other pharmacies and it's all about the same $ 💚

Botox doesn’t last much for me but xeomin lasts about 6 months

I definitely prefer Xeomin over Botox. I just feel that Botox has inferior ingredients.
