From what I've heard, the All Hallows Eve Art was just a friend of the director and not actually an actor. Still did a pretty good job, but doesn't stand a chance against an actually educated clown/mime actor.

So every time they shot a new prosthetic was made. So I’ve been super curious to know, between Terrifier 1,2&3, All Hollow’s Eve, and Circle 9, how many prosthetics were made in total.

@@NancyWestgate-gj7ev ok, I will tell you - SPOLIERS AHEAD!!! Well at the end it seems that art kills the final girl called sienna as he pushes into a tank full of water which of course with no way out she drowns - buuuuut sienna owns her dads magic sword which is so magic brings her back to life so she manages to escape the tank where she sees art is attacking her brother, she quietly sneaks behind art and stabs him with the sword he tries to walk away but she manages to actually decapitate him so her and her brother are safe. It isn’t until he starts gesturing like art that he really transforms. Like the costume does not wear him he wears the costume. Also, he’s so adorable before the makeup lol. 😍

I can’t imagine the feeling of the shadow art casts approaching as all of the pieces of his garb consume you. The way your brain must flip a switch and descend into a character that’s that dark… would have to be a really unique internal transformation.
The biggest part of the movie for me (I've only seen the most recent one) is the fact that although art is silent, the vast majority of the time while people are screaming or talking, the way he holds himself and moves his face and mouth makes it seem like HE could be the one making those noises. The mime vibe is absolutely crazy. I think that's what really set the character and the movie off the most for me, it brings an entire different dimension to it all. Can't wait for the fourth one.

I think it's fascinating how this series started as one of those goofy, low budget horror movies just made for the hell of it. Now it's probably up there with the Scream and Halloween and other horror series like that
This actor is by far the most talented slasher villain of all time. He conveys horror and humor interchangeably. Who else can horribly murder a family at Christmas, then calmly sit and eat Santa’s cookies in the next scene? This is what makes art such a great character. He is the worst kind of evil and yet is hilarious at the same time.
I remember in the beginning David Howard Thornton said in a podcast, that it takes less time the more often Damien Leone and the team applied the Make up. I wonder how long the process takes now compared to back when they were shooting for the first movie!
