That was wonderful! As a rrlatively beginner chemist, what is your production order? Since I only know how to jugmix adv brutes and dip, I usually go 180 Dylo, Bunch of kelo for materials, jugmix 200 bic for advanceds while I cook saline, punc while I do bruiz, then Lace, then 180 Arith, Derma, Lepo, Phalax, Jugmix dip. What do you use, and do you have any jugmix ideas?
@@gabrote42 I actually work off of a spreadsheet I have been putting together, it's still a work in progress and requires some more testing, it's got your basics and some of your more advanced chemicals. In terms of order, it doesn't matter too much unless med bay has early casualties, then I prioritize whats needed. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ACceS186iOct1UXHr4HlnjnVT1LxN1mpjs6-2MnQlPk/edit?usp=sharing
@@fernando47180 don't worry, I am MRP whitelisted and have a lot of good rounds. The problems is that I am slow enough that I have less time to RP as chem than as Cargo Tech
@@gabrote42 yup that is fair. I've definitely been in that situation a good number of times... In retrospect, if you're stuck with emergency requests all the time, perhaps it would have been a better RP alternative to request urgent help, so you won't have to deal with all the mixing yourself... Though help doesn't always come :P
I once decided to make Unstable mutagen, but made a mistake with one of the ingredients. Instead of taking the jug to the Chem master and dispensing it over again, I simply added the missing ingredient. The Chlorine and the wrong ingredient reacted violently, destroying the chem dispenser and killing me instantly. I was arrested, and stripped of my chemistry privileges for the rest of the round... Until the CMO found themselves overwhelmed doing chemistry on their own, so they let me back in the lab near the end of the shift. Just another Tuesday at the station, am I right?
Holy shit the potassium slip was comedy
You couldn't have scripted it better
Slipping directly in front of the guy who gave it to you, making it blow up, and then fucking with the janitor because of it? Comedy gold
thank you. if someone asks me what space station 14 is about, i will show them this
