Great storm. Someone is giving you a hard time about getting wet 😂 I love the New York accent ( I think it is, I'm from the UK, so I could be wrong) from who ever that is, brilliant. Lovely houses too.
Dear Minnesotans, correct me if I'm wrong, but when the lightning flashes you start to count one-one thousand, two-one thousand ... with each second being approximately 1 mile distance when the thunder comes a rumbling!
Indiana girl here and that is correct I did it all the time while living out in the country in tornado territory and the area most susceptible for severe storms
Good video. Camera on a tripod and no movement! Small bit of advice, lose the commentary. Other than that you could totally lose yourself in the storm....
I would have enjoyed this more without the constant outbursts and talking! Mother Nature does not need a narrator sit the camera down and let the storm do all the talking
@@mastakilla5002 Excitement is fine but constant oohs and aahs ruin the video. It's called professionalism and the younger you learn it the farther you will go.
@@mastakilla5002this person is absolutely correct just stay calm and enjoy the storms ambient thunder and lightning. Nice video and captures of the lightning. Have you dreamt about chasing storms at any given time when you were younger?
Nice satisfying storm vid! Always love good storms like this when you can sit at the window and watch the lightning and the rain blow.
Definitely an affluent neighborhood.
Great storm.

I count by "one mississippi, two mississippi, etc", and 5 seconds is about a mile.
