I remember in summer 1987 going up to Nashville one morning and it was nice and sunny and on the way back down I 65 I noticed a big dark cloud bank towards Franklin to the south and people driving northbound with their headlights on and not even 5 more miles I drove into the storm cars were pulling off to the shoulder it was raining so hard you could barely see in front of you and another time in 1999 or 2000 the wife and kids and I ran into a storm on that same stretch and it was hailing so cars were pulling off and some were trying to get under the underpasses.
Thanks for the ride my brother was a 18 wheeler all his adult life I never got to ride with him so now I got that ride. I always told him keep the dirty side down and shiny side up so I am saying the same to you.
