I think he had problems standing which would account for him sometimes leaning on someone and filming him from the waist up. But growing up on those Bond films I was happy to see him in this.

Back in the 90's i used to get free VIP tickets to a lot of golf tournaments. At one of the Senior tournaments after the final round my friend and I ran into Lee Trevino. I asked him if he would sign my program, he told me to F*ck Off. On the upside both Arnold Palmer and Chi Chi Rodriguez were more than happy to spend a few minutes talking with us and signing autographs. Maybe Lee was just having a bad day.

Also something I found interesting the young blonde kid playing Happy's caddy is Jared Van Snellenberg who went on to be a Professor of Psychiatry specializing in Schizophrenia Neuroimaging. The huge guy playing Happy's ex-boss is actor Richard Kiel who starred in two James Bond movies in the 70's.

Adam Sandler is more controversial than a "love him or hate him" comedian. He can make a great movie when he wants to, a divisive movie when he indulges, and zero effort schlock when he's fully in "free vacation" mode. The last of those is a very real thing; Sandler uses his projects to net free vacations for himself and his friends (who also tend to get hired for his movies).

As a teenager I used to try a similar momentum based golf swing on the driving range, and would crush the ball on the occasions that I'd make solid contact. Hit a tree 🌳 by the 200 yard marker while the ball was still rising. Every wooden club in my cheap set eventually (quickly actually) got bent and warped.

    • @StormyPeak
      @StormyPeak ปีที่แล้ว

      A bit off topic here......but so what...lol.
There use to be a NASCAR driver named Dick Trickle, I use to cheer for him in every race. He didn't have some of the huge sponsors and multiple cars like a number of the younger drivers who were racing back then, but he often managed to at least finish the race...which those huge sponsored drivers didn't do, because they got into fender benders up front, and often near the end of the race.
He was a fan favorite. He, Harry Gant, Cal Yarborough, Richard Petty, and a few others were some of the older drivers back then, in an age where NASCAR was hitting it big time, and new safety equipment, communication equipment, and a different set of driving skills were coming into play, especially with restrictor plate racing. But they all did quite well in adapting to the changes...only quitting when age, rather than their cars, slowed them up.
I was saddened to hear that he killed himself when he was around 70 years old, I guess he had been dealing with a lot of physical pain.

I'm so glad to see you posting more often. However, if I may be so bold....you are a smart guy, so not a part of the majority in this game.
You quickly became one of my very few favorite "reactors", because you're a smart, sensitive, analytical guy who actually DOES "react" and give an intelligent commentary on the films you share. THAT is why I watch these reactor things in the first place.
There are SOOOO many well written, well acted, beautifully designed and produced films out there, films with actual dialog, a story and character development, so many GREAT films done about actual historical events or even just based loosely on real life...and you preview THIS??
You're a fun, smart, curious, intellectual guy who understands story telling, and that this kind of mindless tripe takes up time/space on your channel is a travesty and a drag.
You are too good at this to have #'s like you do. It's because of this mess.
Preview Green Book ( Mahershala Ali, Viggo Mortensen), Murder in the First (Kevin Bacon, Christian Slater), Dead Man Walking (Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon), What Dreams May Come (Robin Williams, Annabella Sciorra), Hidden Figures (Teraji P Henson, Octavia Spenser, Janelle Monae). And Sooooo many more. Your numbers will grow and you'll actually get to watch some quality film. But KEEP doin you!! ✌️🎬

You need to watch the wedding singer, and the water boy. Then "little nicky" characters from the water boy, happy Gilmore, and the wedding singer appear in little nicky

Sandler is great but you need to get into Chris Farleys movies. Tommy Boy, Black Sheep and Almost Hero’s

I know a lot of people hate on his movies but Adam Sandler is a genuinely humble and good person. I put him up there with Keanu Reeves and Morgan Freeman.

Hi🤗 I thoroughly enjoy & appreciate ur reactions mate, keep up the awesome work!👍 I dont think they're meanin 2 imply that golf & hockey have transferable skills, just that Happy is terrible @ hockey but was destined 2 be a "great" golfer! Lotsa love from Australia man 🥰 💚 🇦🇺
