This song is sung by Pandit Bhimsen Joshi originally. You have reacted to his video of miya ki malhar previously. Do check the other classical singers from Maharashtra such as Kumar Gandharva, Bal Gandharva, Mogubai Kurdikar, kesarbai kerkar, Prabha Atre, Vasantrao Deshpande etc.
Interesting fact - kesarbai Kerkar's song "jaat kahan ho akeli gori" composed in Raag Bhairavi was put on Nasa's Voyeger 1 which recently reached edge of our solar system. It was done in case If we come across any alien life, they should know how humans sound.

Not only me but many of us your viewers expect, you guys should react more and more to pandit bhimsen joshi ji. He's done so much for classical music in India which no other singer have done. From marathi abhanga to kannad and many devotional songs in many languages.

The abhang ( devotional song )means Vitthal is my father and mother and Pandharpur where His temple is, is my (fathers ) home.
That song was originally sung by Late Pt. Bhimsen Joshi. It's a Marathi devotional song of the 'Abhanga' genre, offered to Lord Vitthal (Krishna). Written by Sant Eknath (16th century) and as composed by Ram Phatak in 20th century, it became a people's favourite. This video misses the beginning chant that gives it a fast tempo. Also, apart from poor audio, one can't understand what the other front camera was framing! 😊

What a masterpiece!
Love this, but it breaks my heart to see this performance and many of Pt Bhimsen Joshi's performances recorded with inferior audio quality. We should celebrate our classical singers better, like the Coke Studio from Pakistan, and I commend them for doing so. That `Chaap Tilak' song is so iconic.
It's still not too late. We should bring classical singing to the mainstream so we can proudly introduce it to the rest of the world. It would also act as cultural preservation.
