Looks good. I'm glad it worked out for you. Thanks for showing us your project. When you think about it. The product is doing exactly what you would expect from it.
Thanks so much for this update - though I haven't seen the first yet. Going there next. I've just heard of ground grid and it sounds interesting for my needs. I live in East Texas so I assume it's similar to your temperatures. Anyway, you did a beautiful job. Going to the original video right now. Thanks so so much.
For grounds/soils that have tendency to “swallow” gravel/crush stone, just put geo fabric beneath the grid. And there are similar products that have a membrane underneath the grid built in.
great to hear its holding up.............. one thing I always hate you see the intial install of this but nothing to show how its held up over time. I am getting ready to do this but i am going to to it with a base and then dirt so I can grow grass ontop of it for the area to look like just like the lawn but still bae able to park my truck there as the kids are starting to drive so i need more parking area. :D
What's to note here is, installation and experience. You did a great job for the application. Love it, thanks for the follow-up vid. I need somerhing like this but im in a rocky area of Northwest Arkansas so not sure if this will work but it gave me some ideas.
Thank you for the great info and the follow-up! This is what the internet was meant for - not political memes and money scams. Gotta go check out your other content now.
Nice job, I just saw the first video and then saw this update. I think the only thing I would say is that maybe you should have continued it along the whole side of the building.
I live in Oklahoma, we have the same nasty red clay. This would work great as the base for a gravel pad to set a shed on. It looks like it would be super stable.
Cannot agree more.. the bulk if not almost all of my negative comments are single brain cell level replies 😆😆. People can’t read.. people can’t watch more than 5 seconds of a video.. and people will ask the most common sense questions.. and be confused.. lol. Thankfully negative comments are far and few between.
It’s Great!
It does look great! Nice work! 🙂
Looks goods. Been researching this. Thanks you
What’s it like on weeds and leaves

Exactly, in the right application it’s a winner! Thanks for watching

Great idea. I’ve seen that done before.
Thanks for follow up on grid. I always wonder about heavy projects if they last - your job looks great.
Great looking gravel pad. This has me wanting to install in my driveway
Thanks for watching, hope you have good luck with it like I did.
Wow! Good job! An intelligent choice of design and materiel
Great update Matthew, looks like a well thought out project . No reason why it won't continue to do the Job
Thanks! 😊

Glad it helped.
Thank you for both videos. This helps me a LOT (I have N. Carolina red clay soil, too). Good info and well described processes. I appreciate it.
Thank you for the comment! 😎
@@Buckswoodshop It rare to see such useful, no-BS info in a very clear and concise video. Thank you very much.

Thanks that looks great!
Thank you, good job! 👋
👍👍
Brilliant video mate,l reckon I’m going to do this on my farm driveway.
I would have expected that straight gravel with no fines to move more but it looks great.
It's lasted really well. Hello from Scotland.
Good Job...!!!
Nice job, I just saw the first video and then saw this update. I think the only thing I would say is that maybe you should have continued it along the whole side of the building.
We live in Texas and have that black dirt. We will be installing that for an RV pull through pad. Hopefully it will help our issues.
Hope its a good solution for you.

That red clay is good for some things! 👍👍
@@Buckswoodshop Yep, its also great for staining your daughter's favorite swimsuit down at the lake LOL.
There is always Negative Nancys and Dumb Dans. Looks great!
looks good
Thanks a lot! I just moved into a place and my gravel driveway is being a pain I think this might just fix that!
Cool!
Seems water would have problems draining from rocks? During heavy rains? Mosquitos? If it meets your needs...good work!
I wonder if mixing concrete powder with the gravel would help to strengthen and help the stone gravel compact better?
👍👍
Thank you!
Any thought about using the gravel and then doing the top inch or so with river stone?
Where can I buy , the ground grid 👍👍👍👍👍👍🥰🥰
That's how it's done son!!!
Oh yeah!! 😎
I think it's great. I bet if the grass did grow over it it wouldn't hurt at all.
Amen!
How much settling was there? Did you have to add much gravel after what you used when you installed the grid.?
Never added more since I installed it.
Done right the first time 👍
Thanks man!
I guess I didn't see the first video. What does the ground grid do?
