Lego City Undercover is an action-adventure video game developed by TT Fusion for the Wii U. The game was released on 18 March 2013 in North America, Europe and Australia on 28 March 2013 and in Japan on 25 July 2013. A prequel, Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins was developed for the Nintendo 3DS. Unlike previous Lego titles developed by Traveller's Tales, which have been based on various licenses, the game is based on the Lego City brand and is the first Lego game to be published by Nintendo.[1] It was also the first Lego game to be first released on the Wii U. On 22 November 2016, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that a remaster will be released for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in April 2017. - เกม

In a special mission, Chase uses a teleport and says "I hope I won't be a fly on the other side". That's a reference to a horror movie called The Fly (1986).

I loved this game. Was so much fun to play I remember playing this on the Wii U. It’s probably one of my favourite Lego games made. I just love the Lego games, they’re so much fun with lots of cool Easter eggs and jokes.
At 2:12 you can clearly see a guy coming up from underneath that box. Well, It's not a box and actually, this is a reference to an escape that happened during World War 2. During World War 2 Two prisoners at a captured German camp found out the death camps exists from a guard. They want to spread this information to the rest of the world so what they do is they start digging a tunnel underneath this box that you see at 2:12 well this "Box" Is actully a sporting tool prisoners jumped over every day to practice their jumps and how high they can jump. The guards weren't bothered by this so they didn't really care and in the end, after 2 months of digging they made it out by digging under this "Box" that you see in the game.
Oh man the Shawshank redemption references makes me want to play this game sooo bad!
Bright Light Plaza has a lot of references;
The overall place is based on Times Square.
The shopping mall is based on that mall I don't know the name of.
The big neon Toyshop is based on the Toys 'R' Us (RIP by the way. =( )
That's all I have so far.
There is also "Auburn Bay Bridge" which is a reference to Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA.
Might be wrong but the T-Rex exhibit looks similar to the Natural history museum in London, England.
Also the beginning of "Fort Meadows" looks similar to the terrain at the start of the golden gate bridge.
"Lady Liberty Island" is a reference to the liberty statue in NYC.
That's all I found so far.
There is also another toy shop that is a reference to another departed toy store in Bright Lights Plaza, namely, the late F.A.O. Schwartz Toy Store that was in New York City, New York, USA.

One you forgot to mention was the car chase between Natalia and Chase which was a clear reference to the car chase scene in Mission Impossible 2

There is a boat which can be found everywhere, which is a reference to the orca, the boat of Jaws. It is the exact shape of it, has barrels in the back and a fishing pole at the front
There is reference on when chase chases natalie and natalie flies off cliff, that is reference to mission impossible 2

I love that this game has as many movie references as Conker's Bad Fur Day.
There’s also Rex Fury breaking out of Albatross with a rock hammer just like Andy did in the Shawshank Redemption.
When Chase said “There she is, Lego City.” That could be a reference to GTA4 in the Intro when Niko’s traveling friend says “There she is, Liberty City.”

I know I may be late with this but look at the logo of the car named "traveler" that logo is an exact recreation of the "travellers tales" logo from their old era

The shawshank one was such a great reference considering the nature of the film
The poster that was in both LEGO City Undercover, as well as The Shawshank Redemption, is actually a poster of Raquel Welch from the movie that is called "One Million B.C."
On the mining mission when near the recorder when you launch up there's a ability for the farmer use it and you'll have to go to the top with explosive boulders going down the same way as donkey Kong I don't know if there is a gorilla.

The first Arnold Schwarzenegger reference is from the movie that is called Predator. The second reference is from The Terminator. The third reference is, of course, from Collateral Damage. The fourth reference is from The Expendables movie trilogy. The fifth one, is, of course, from Jingle All The Way. The sixth one is, of course, from Raw Deal. The seventh one is, of course, from Eraser. The eighth, and last, one is from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

I think that the two female cops, you know, with one of them hitting the other cop with a purse, might also be referring to fictional female cop duo of Cagney and Lacey, or possibly Rizzoli and Isles, though I am going to go with the former pair of police officers, as it was a bigger hit cop television show back in the day. Honestly, Rizzoli and Isles, as well as the person that was in Police Woman, needed a reference, and ditto for CHiPs as well. I would have also liked for Chase McCain to have interactions with some private investigators that would have referenced various private detectives from shows like Hart to Hart, The Rockford Files, Magnum P. I. (old school or new school version, or maybe as a father and son private detective duo in the game if the developers could not decide things), as well as referenced other old shows like Quincy, M.D., McCloud, Hawaii Five-O (new school or old-school), MacGyver (old school or new school), etc. (maybe not CSI, Longmire, Cold Case, Criminal Minds, Law and Order, NYPD Blue, or Homicide: Life on the Street, and shows of their ilk, as some of their episodes can get into really dark territory) .

Soo just curious, but what are all the Nintendo easter eggs, like the star, blocks, bombs, etc replaced with in the ps4 and xbox versions?
Frank Ayers the stars are replaced with shield badges, Mario blocks replace with breakable statues that look garbage. Most characters are obtained in New ways. Its interesting

theres also fighting moves in the game that are clearly referencing street fighter, chun li's spinning bird kick, and zangifs double lariat (totally stole from Mike Haggar)
...or Mike Haggar's Spinning Lariat from the Final Fight games, as well as his appearances in the Marvel Vs. Capcom series (Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite).

SMALL EASTER EGG. If u ride the red car at pier in paradise sands it plays the five nights at Freddy's sound of when you run out of power and Freddy looks at you. No Joke I just found it in the wii u version the car is called squeaky it is I. The car is called the squeaky
This game came out on Wii U a year before FNAF, so it's just a coincidence.
The squeaky isn't red though it's blue.

Now what a lot of people do not know is that, if you have the Switch or Wii U version of this game, you will know that the game has a few Nintendo exclusive references, but that, in the rogues list of Mario enemies, Mario has a Shark enemy, as is found in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, and, in a related series, in the original Donkey Kong Country game, as well as the first Donkey Kong Land game, there are two enemies that are called Chomps and Chomps Jr., which are, naturally, also shark type enemies in the game, so, the shark warning could also be referencing those enemies from those games as well.
