I am so glade to see you keep up the ways of the elders. What makes me happy to see is its hand made and made with pure gold. people now days or at least people in the usa do not understand the how much better pure gold and silver items are and that hand made products show that someone pute their time and efert into making something for you that's not stamped out in a factory. I'VE BEEN TO THAILAND IN THE EARLY '70's, AFTER THE PIECE IS FINISHED, THEY HEAT AND DRAIN THE PIECE AND RESEAL IT. BEST HAND ARTISANS IN THE WORLD I'VE STILL GOT SOME NICE WORK FROM THERE.

no,sir...have you not noticed the hole he drilled ..after ward he reheat and the material melted out of the hole ...collect it and reuse that material..that is how it is done..he did not show the audience the last step...the bangle is now all gold ( he will has to mark his initial on the bangle and deliver to the store who order ...his initial guarantees his work for future complaints if it is not up to the standard ..this is to preserve ethical ( if there is still any left much) ..this is how it is done century in the far east ..ususally the techinques are not showned to the puplic..they are only preserved and passed down within the family from generation to generation ..that is why this is called " lost art"
