Thank you for the process and tips. My pepper plants will not go dormant. They continue to produce leaves, which I remove. Do you think they will fine for transplanting in the right season?
HEY Cyndy!!! I think they will be fine when they go back out. I have some that are growing as well. I keep my house warm in winter. As long as mine don't dry out, they should be fine. Let me know how it goes. I'm glad they are doing well. Good Stuff!!!
@ thank you for your reply. I will definitely let you know how it turns out. This is the first winter that I’m gardening and the second year. In all. The first year I planted everything in the wrong season so nothing grew. I’m really glad to have found your channel.
I have several pineapples in the ground (Florida) and last year I pruned back some of the very long leaves at the bottom of the plant. Will that stunt my production?
HEY Becky!!!! I know pruning dead or damaged leaves on the pineapple plant can promote new growth. I don't think it will be a problem. This is my first time with pineapple plants. My plants are a light green now. I hope they are OK. I had then for 2 years. I wish I could be like planting them in thr yard.
It gets so hot down here that they do better in partial shade. I had some in full sun but they didn’t like it. Another issue I have is that sometimes the pineapples are big and sometimes they are softball sized. I still haven’t got it figured out after all these years.
Great tips, I got 3 growing in the Greenhouse
Thanks, Broke, I got to get a greenhouse. That's why I was about to buy a cheap one for those plants but I did not. Congrats on 8k Milestone👍🏼
