Nicole plays each musical composition as the authors wrote their music as opposed to interpretations as it is often the case with a vast majority of performers..... simply put , she is an amazingly gifted pianist on par with any of the greatest talents on any world stage today.
A gifted pianist...true. Not to everyone's taste though. Too many unnecessary flourishes. The Claire de Lune was played without feeling and a little slow. I found the whole programme entertaining, but have certainly heard better. Perhaps Nicole is a better entertainer than a performer?
It is pure kitsch re-chewing Borge, Lieberg, Liberace and others. But... that is dying now and you reverberate their esprit. Well done and a lot of fun. (+ A thumbs up)
