But it's great to see young people discovering this music again. Keep listening and open up your minds as I do with the new music today.

My dad was a Pink Floyd fan, and so am I. I still have the vinyl album. Dark Side of the Moon is the best album ever made. This is my favorite song on this album. When you're young, you don't think about time. You have all the time in the world. I'm 56 now. Where did my youth go? All the things I wanted to do but never had time for? It's so sad. This song is so beautiful and so deep.
Pink Floyd cannot be classified in any genre. Pink Floyd's music is ... Pink Floyd. Its an unique experience, where emotions, all your senses and your imagination blends with what you hear in a very very deep level. This album is their magnus opus and is considered as the best music album in the history of modern music.
A really high quality set of headphones,a dark comfortable place to lay down and chill, and a little buzz from whatever your flavour is. Listen to the whole album from star to finish. I am 58 and been listening to this album since 75( released in 73) If you are not emotional by the end, you missed it. Cheers

No matter what, it still blows my mind when watching people who never ever heard of pink Floyd. I understand it's the age thing, but it still blows my mind
I was blessed to have seen Pink Floyd. 1994 Pontiac Silverdome. My wife was 7mo. pregnant with our son, so she held a pillow over her tummy when it got really loud. It was the only time they played the entire Darkside of the Moon album in concert since the Darkside tour in the 1970s. In an interview, Gilmore and Wright said they did it because we were the best audience of their entire tour. Of the hundreds of concerts I have seen, Pink Floyd is number one top of the list. 😊✌️
I find this montage of Floyd quite revealing to see such an emotional release to the many listeners on the video. Some to actual tears and others you can see on their faces the inner contemplation of the reality of life and how quickly it has passed them by to this point in their lives. I'm 67 years old now. The sun has raced up behind me many times now and I am certainly so much closer to death these days. This and many others was the music of my generation and to see how you youngsters are so very moved by music like this and jamming on in the background giving it such high praise makes me laugh almost ironically because when my generation listens to your music we can't wait to turn it off in disgust for the most part because we have actually been exposed to real musical talent over fifty years ago and watching your enlightened awareness and enjoyment is of no surprise to us. Enjoy away and be transformed. On the brighter side music arrangement and composition is infinite from 8 simple notes there's still much music to come and I believe that the greatest music ever written hasn't even been composed yet. I will probably be long gone by then, dead and buried, but I already envy the living inhabitants of that time for what is yet to come for them to enjoy, experience and savor. Post add on comment: You kids have one very major advantage. This all was done in the past and it's been recorded for all time. You can listen to it any time you like. Sadly that future music is off limits to me and all us other old farts.
I used to listen to this brilliant album as a teenager and now at 61 it means even more. Floyd are in a league of their own, and take you places in your mind like a mystical journey. I will love them until I die and my son knows that Comfortably Numb is to be played at my funeral. I am just so thankful that I was born when I was, to have this music in my life from a young age, and still have it today. It is Timeless!

I have already commented on this video, but upon a second watch/listen, the superb nature of this collage deserves much praise. This is the greatest Reaction Videos Channel video ever produced. The combination of the song and it's lyrics, the trance-like expressions of the various reactors, and the comments of the same meld together to create a very engrossing experience. Thanks again to the creator of this marvelous video.
I was too young to cry the first time I heard this song but, now, I get it. Time is just.... different the older you get. And, yes, WonderMomma is amazeballs.
I discovered this album when I was 7 years old. I knew back then it was something special. I'm 57 now and I still learn something new every time I listen to this musical masterpiece.
As a 57 year old, my recollection of this song is when my older brother got the original LP pressing with all the artwork inside, and we played it for days. A few lucky people purchased the quadrophonic mix (engineered by Allan Parsons) and owned a rare quadrophonic pioneer system to experience dark side of the moon in all it's original perfection.
As of August 2, 2024, Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon has charted on the Billboard top 200 chart for 990 weeks. Not continuously because it was released in 1973 - but that's a total of 18 + years on the charts. It only dropped off the chart a staggering 15 years after it came out - but then has gotten back on the charts sporadically. It's rediscovered year after year. Just incredible. Can you imagine anything released today that could have that kind of staying power??
I've listened to Pink Floyd my whole life, this was my Neena's favorite song and to listen to it now is very cathartic, still gives me the chills and goosebumps
67 years old here and this song that I have listened to has a lot more meaning now than when I was young. Very happy to see these young people react to this wonderful song. ❤❤
The song Time is an example of that perfect song that melds musicianship, skill, emotions and perfect iambic pentameter poetic style and the theme of life passing you by in a flash into one masterpiece for all time. I remember having these same reactions when I first heard this song...... and that sublime lead guitar of David Gilmour.
I have seen majority of these reactors in this montage. Most of them already reacted to other Pink Floyd's songs. I have been a fan of Pink Floyd since early 70's. The album, Dark Side of the Moon, in which this song is on this album. Next year, this song and album will be celebrating its 50 Anniversary. When it was released in 1973, this album broke some records. From 1973 to 1988 or over 700 weeks, DSOTM stayed on Billboard Charts. Guinness Book of World Records gave this distinction. I just check online; this album is still on certain charts from other countries.
It is definitely one of a kind. One you can never tire of. I've heard it many times, but as you can imagine, making these videos requires me to breakdown each song in every detail. I'm noticing little things that I've never heard before and that, in and of itself, makes doing these videos very worthwhile. Like someone else said here, this song meaning to me has changed from my childhood to now. Like a fine wine, I grow to appreciate it more over time. Thanks for your comment!
The older I get the harder this damn song hits, but you can't help but marvel at how good it is. Gilmour is a god on guitar, and Water's lyrics slay me.
It's a New Year's ritual for me, the first thing I do after the ball drops, and they're done singing Auld Lang Syne, is play Time. It puts life in perspective, and every passing year it hits home harder and harder. This song is a masterpiece.
This is the best reaction video I've seen. I'm familiar with all the reactors which is cool to see them all together. Great work and Pink Floyd is PRICELESS. THANKS
The most profound song on the human experience ends with, "the song is over....thought I'd something more to say.....". That's amazing lyricism. 👏👏👏 Layers on top of layers of meanings and subtext. Brilliant!!

But it's great to see young people discovering this music again. Keep listening and open up your minds as I do with the new music today.
This is before my time but they have become my favorite band. Their music is timeless and the way it makes me feel is indescribable.
That solo is the single most beautiful piece of guitar ever played
I hope I'll never get tired of this song
Ain't no music like the 70s and will never be again. This song in particular was an out-of-body experience.
David Mazon For real!
I truly believe that this is the greatest song of all time, and based on the fact that I'm still 16, and everyone in the comments is saying it only gets better as you age, I don't think my opinion will ever change. ❤️🔥
You are in for a ride, my fellow earth traveler !
Enjoy, take your time !
I'm 73.
There is more to come for you. Less for me !
Just keep rocking!

My grandfather is the one who started the love of Pink Floyd, passed it down to my children. So 4 generations and growing. 😁
Home, home again
I like to be here when I can
When I come home cold and tired
It's good to warm my bones beside the fire
Favorite Pink Floyd lyric
Same!
Agree!! Alan Parsons Project comes in second...
Id say its bluesy space rock
take a listen to the early stuff by Syd Barret
A really high quality set of headphones,a dark comfortable place to lay down and chill, and a little buzz from whatever your flavour is.
Listen to the whole album from star to finish.
I am 58 and been listening to this album since 75( released in 73)
If you are not emotional by the end, you missed it.
Cheers
I am 73 ! Lol ! I bought the original album 3 times ! (vinyl). I threw parties, no biggie ! But they all mysteriously disappeared. No other albums were ever "borrowed".
We were a bunch of 17 year Olds livin' in The Motor City.
To the Band ;
What a blessing !

“Racing around to come up behind you again.” For older folks. Tears earlier, and now stronger. This timeless masterpiece.
Pink Floyd is a ride: insightful, beautiful, emotional, hypnotic, introspective.
They reveal human condition.
Listen up 🎵 listen up people THIS is music.. 🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵
I can't believe y'all never heard this song . Good to hear so many people come with the appreciation. Shine on you crazy diamonds. ❤️💯
♥️♥️♥️
Well said. I just turned 50 and feel the same way. Love seeing their reactions. I do love the newer music too. Some of it. Lol.
@@karenglenn6707 We had such amazing artists to listen to as kids, didn't we?
@@contucker9413 I am Australian and was also able to see the start of AC/DC with Bon Scott at least 5 times as a teenager. The music that we grew up,with was to me the best time. Melbourne had a brilliant live music scene so we saw great Aussie bands every weekend along with Queen and Simple Minds to name a few. Never got to see Floyd which is a huge regret. No auto tuned crap, all excellent musicians, we were so spoiled. Wish I could go back and do it again, but don’t we all. Best wishes. X
As a 24 year old, I just gotta say thank you for your wisdom. I truly hope I'll get to be your age, and perhaps pass on wisdom to the next generation
And this is why Pink Floyd is legendary! I’ve been to a lot of concerts in my life but Pink Floyd was an experience but can never be matched!
They need to follow this with great gig in the sky. This song is a setup for that song. Talking about your life leading up to the end. Then great gig carries you over.
I have been listening to this masterpiece for 50 years…trust me on this when I say that the feelings and emotions y’all just felt NEVER go away …. it’s simply the greatest album by the greatest band in the history of the world. ❤️
I've been trying to figure out what makes so many people get so emotional and cry to Pink Floyd's music. Is it the subject matter? Is it the melodies and beautiful backing vocals? Is it David's singing voice and otherworldly guitar? Is it that it's just so damn good? ..... YES!!! Just yes.
I had nervous breakdown on my 35th birthday, because I literally lost 10 years to being a drunk. I barely remember anything from 25-35 & it scared me to the point of a complete meltdown.
This song is truly important 🙏
Brother, 35 is still young, just be glad for your meltdown and start running. For various reasons some people get to the very end of life and realize they wasted all those days one by one on things that didn't matter. You got this bro!
@@stephenwhite5444 Cheers for the kind words mate, and I do hear what you are saying.
I'm glad to have woken up now, than when it's too late... then, some don't wake up at all.
We all sweat things that don't matter.
We all place importance on stuff that doesn't matter too.
We are a silly bunch.
I appreciate the msg ✌
@@bennysmith2007 I too, want to commend you on surviving. Surviving is more difficult than the very thing you're surviving. Know that as hard as the experience was... it will be one of your best teachers and build you into a better version of yourself. All hardship and trauma does that. You have plenty of time to keep evolving as the years ebb and flow. It will fly by, so let go of that which you cannot control directly, or it will control you. Acknowledge your achievements in getting through it all. You deserve it. Thanks for sharing your story, sorry I'm getting to it a little late.
Damn!
I had a somewhat similar experience. Wasted time. But we must look forward and make the most of what is ahead. Peace be with you.
Greatest song ever made
The emotion this song elicits never ceases to amaze me. For those aren’t aware. The album MUST be listened to start to finish. You’re welcome😊

I tell people this all the time. You can’t change the past, you can’t foresee the future. You can only influence the present.
I saw them live at the big O in Montreal unbelievable. 80.000 people .
All these beautiful people sharing the moment with this song. People, learn to love each other before it is too late!
That's so cool man! I totally feel the same. Thank you for wording it properly. And we can all just get along listening to music? That's just beautiful right there.
Amen, brother.
I’ve been listening to this song since was 13. I cry almost every time during the solo. seeing other similar reactions really made my day. Thank you for this. And thank you pink Floyd
Music makes you cry because it touches your soul
@@willynillylive.,....n o, dear bro ~ soul is not relevant / it's the HEART ❤️❤️❤️😀💎🎸🎵🎶😇,!!! BERNIE GERMANY 😁
Wow, thank you so much, what an amazing compliment. Glad you found my channel!
I was too young to cry the first time I heard this song but, now, I get it. Time is just.... different the older you get. And, yes, WonderMomma is amazeballs.
I love that word! Thank you so much.
Thank you, Wondermomma!
Those perfectly pitched roto-toms at the beginning totally make that intro.
I nearly died when Brad said Lex was “praise dancing”!! Love it!
Listening to this now at 50 hits much different then when I listened as a teen. Time is precious and waits for no one.
I was 18 when I heard this Album for the first time, I am 53 today, and so not know where the hell did time fly!
I've listened to Pink Floyd my whole life, this was my Neena's favorite song and to listen to it now is very cathartic, still gives me the chills and goosebumps
I'm glad the younger generation is experiencing the music I grew up with. "ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE"..
67 years old here and this song that I have listened to has a lot more meaning now than when I was young. Very happy to see these young people react to this wonderful song. ❤❤
What Pink Floyd did between Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wall is truly mind blowing.
Always said Pink Floyd is the ultimate weed music.
Man this song brings back memories
* consequitive weeks, actually
People are still buying it. It's timeless
Time is the undefeated champion! Didn't believe it when I was young and strong.
The older I get the harder this damn song hits, but you can't help but marvel at how good it is. Gilmour is a god on guitar, and Water's lyrics slay me.
Out of Pink Floyd's many incredible tunes, I think this is their best. Majestic but raw, with lyrics that speak to everyone.
I still am amazed that Alan Parson’s produced this album. This truly the greatest album ever recorded.
Once you hear Pink Floyd, you never stop.
It's a New Year's ritual for me, the first thing I do after the ball drops, and they're done singing Auld Lang Syne, is play Time. It puts life in perspective, and every passing year it hits home harder and harder. This song is a masterpiece.
"If you love life don't waste time because time is what life is made of" ~ Bruce Lee
Fifty years on and it still packs a gut punch!!!!! Yesssss!!!!!
This is the best reaction video I've seen. I'm familiar with all the reactors which is cool to see them all together. Great work and Pink Floyd is PRICELESS. THANKS
This is in the top 3 pink floyd song for me ever 😍😍😍
The most profound song on the human experience ends with, "the song is over....thought I'd something more to say.....". That's amazing lyricism. 👏👏👏 Layers on top of layers of meanings and subtext. Brilliant!!
I loved hearing the guys that were philosophizing about Time.
There’s so much emotion for me when I listen to Pink Floyd. I was raised on the 70’s since my birth early 80’s. I literally find myself balling going down the highway because of so many memories just flood my mind. Division bell album is my absolute favorite Album, but every album is absolutely amazing.
I’m 70 next month and been listening to it forever and it still love it
Pink Floyd are simply GENIUS ❤
