Are yall really implying it’d be that easy to trade his contract in the first place? Not to mention the difficulty of getting a player who will be a guarantee fit and can be consistently better than Mika. Good luck finding that magical fantasyland trade. I think it’s obvious the whole team not just Mika lacked the physical presence needed in that Florida series, and truthfully I think players like Mika, Bread and Kreider should have the confidence that their teammates will stick up for them just as much as they are expected to stick up for themselves and respond accordingly when their getting targeted. You really think Florida would’ve let us just target Tkachuk, Barkov, or Verhaeghe uncontested by their teammates? The best teams have players that are surrounded by players they can rely on to defend them and while Mika needs to work on this it’s far from just him on the rangers not stepping up physically. There were far too many passengers not willing to get dirty that series for us to stand a chance.
A disappointing end to a great season. A lot was made about the Rangers needing to be better 5 v 5, which was true. But the question I have is: Why weren't they good 5 v 5? They mach up talent-wise with top teams in the league. So what was it? Is it effort? Mindset?
Mika Mika Mika .....Should not have used the word disappeared. Bottom line, we need to find a nasty RW who aint afraid to mix it up in the corners, but has the skillset to play with 93 and 20. They should have just put Goody at RW against FL , no doubt that line would have put some points up. He has played RW before. These Forwards need to be just that . Forwards. The Kings put Marty McSorley at RW one year he had a great year and almost made the All Star game ,its not that tough of a position to play
The Rangers need to get physically strong. This is what happened to the 2015 NYR when we played LA. Same strong team but that Ranger team had heart and will. We will be back and next year holding the cup
It’s unfortunate that bum Kreider can’t win board battles for you. He won’t go in the corners for you either. That has not helped Mika’s game. Kreider MUST be traded to get a real power forward.

Go to the gym this summer.
You’re soft Mika
nowhere to be found when it mattered most. again.
A disappointing end to a great season. A lot was made about the Rangers needing to be better 5 v 5, which was true. But the question I have is: Why weren't they good 5 v 5? They mach up talent-wise with top teams in the league. So what was it? Is it effort? Mindset?
Will, mostly.
Did he play in the Panthers season .. I don’t remember seeing him…lol,
The Rangers need to get physically strong. This is what happened to the 2015 NYR when we played LA. Same strong team but that Ranger team had heart and will. We will be back and next year holding the cup
2014*
2015 team was better.
Too predictable, MIka and panarin need to mix their games up a bit come playoffs.
First 2 periods
That was not RANGERS HOCKEY
GOTTA PROTECT
IGOR.
Once again, a great regular season but the usual massive implosion in the stretch. Igor kept you guys in the playoffs for as long as you were there.
Choker
How about you take a break from the DJ stuff and work on your game this offseason, christ
It’s unfortunate that bum Kreider can’t win board battles for you. He won’t go in the corners for you either. That has not helped Mika’s game. Kreider MUST be traded to get a real power forward.
Mika you need some muscle and some strength!!!
He also needs some accountability and some anger about what happened
Be pissed off instead of “ho hum” it’s ok and I’ll be monotone
@@CITYWorker-eh3zf Isn't he half Persian? Shouldn't be too hard for him to build muscle!
This guy Z only scored 8 goals 5 on 5 all year his not a number one center need to move him for a better center before it's to late his not Stanley cup center !
Mika was playing good until Burns broke his stick cross checking him in the back. He immediately dropped and could barely get off the ice. After that he wasn’t the same.
It's interesting that you say that. My fiance is a new fan, to the game, and very observant. I knew something was wrong with Fox and Trouba, but she mentioned more than a few times during the ECF that she thought something was wrong with Mika. She couldn't pin it down, but she said he doesn't look right and that he seemed pale, almost as if he was taking pain killers. Hopefully he will get more grind in his game next season.
@@seanburns2669 as opposed to the last 5 seasons?
@@seanburns2669 Mia, Kreider and Panarin all looked like they were dying of aids on the ice. They actually looked sick in the face. Whatever it was it was obvious and made them look like they put forth no effort and were disinterested.
Mika, you still sound sick…. Laviolette said some of the guys were dealing with the flu, we’re you one of them?
BS
He contracted the dodo bird flu.
Just don’t have a kid mid-season again please
He didn't do anything. Enough with the we stuff, it should be me! Work harder, your no Bobby Orr!
Mika not for nothing you need a toughness makeover time for you to learn from Messier and Graves they will show you the fine art on how you don't get pushed around in this league
Love Mika, but................NOT a playoff performer!
Florida are not a good team. They broke your will by pounding you into the ice. Get a stronger will next time.

NYR keep Lindgren and keep Kaako
Trade Mika and Trouba for cap space
Forgetting Schneider?
@@10.11.9 I haven’t heard anyone talking about him but I would keep him too though
No accountability
Doesn't think we were outplayed? They were just better than us? Don't you get outplayed by better teams or maybe teams that take the game and aggression to you. We lost because #20, #93, #10, #8 shit the bed one more year. All with terrible performances and no pushback when challenged.
You conveniently left out No. 23.
Standing in the left circle waiting to miss a one timer over and over isn’t hockey. Please do us a favor and retire.
A one-trick pony if there ever was one.
