    Thanks Sedge! Your videos are incredibly interesting, helpful, and fun. I enjoy both Sedgetools and Festool Friday - and I bought several tools because of your careful explanations and demonstrations. They have more than lived up to my expectations. Thanks for all you do. Willy from Freeville (formerly from Massachusetts)

    Great work Sedge, love it! Just grabbed my FS2424 for larger cabinets and hole punching. Keep up the great work and love the videos. I’m enjoying Festool now because of your videos and LIVE Friday demo days. Great crew with great products and tools 💪🏼

    LR-32 through-hole lessons learned from me: Make sure your VacSys suction pad is clear of where you are drilling through. Fortunately I just drilled through the rubber part and could easily replace.

    Hi Sedge. Nice video. On setting depth for boring, I just use the screw as a gage for setting the depth stop. Since you are a metric guy, I am surprised you are not using a Hultafors Talmeter measure. Steve

    He sedge. Love the simplicity of it all. Any chance your next one can be to incorporate the location of the hinges and the cups for us guys in the UK. I’m using Blum soft close but as you can brake it down into such simple steps would be good to see it done. No inset doors here, just regular sizes of cabinets and standard doors. Keep up the great work though.

      In this video I layout cup hinges around the 20:00 mark ... hope this is what you are looking for

      @@sedgetool That’s just what I’ve been looking for. Thank you. Have 1 more question though. Why do to make the door 4mm shorter, would it not be quicker to make the door the same size as the cabinet side so you don’t have to do anything with the rail and stop, and then just trim the 2mm top and bottom for your reveal.
      I maybe think I need to watch more videos to understand things better. Thanks again.

    Awesome video as always!!! Sedge on your parallel stops, you have a lever knob, did you replace this from the standard knob that comes with it? Seems much easier with your setup.

      @@sedgetool thanks. I'm planning on making a new miter saw station and already have the Sys-Az drawers ordered and am planning on using them in some of the base cabinets. I'm looking forward to seeing your design. Even got a few metric tape measures. Going to try and go metric for my measurements.

    Line bore with a 58mm offset if you want flush drawers, line bore with a 37mm offset if you want drawers that stick out and match a 18-21mm door or drawer... does that sound right?

    Another outstanding video. You make it simpler to understand. I'm still waiting for my of 1400 . I think you said you used correction fluid to whiten your parallel guides ,Did you just lightly sand to clean off the tops of your lines?

    Out of curiosity, how would I figure out how tall that cabinet is at the start if the video? Would love to use something like that to prop up my kpex extemsions

    • @sedgetool
      @sedgetool  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I measured the height of the kapex mini table and built the cabinet roughly to that size maybe a little shorter so I could use the levelers I hope this makes sense

    Hey Sedge! I will be installing several of the Sys-Az drawers using the 32 mm holes. However, a couple of the partitions will have holes that are back to back so aren't the 5mm screws holding the slides going to be too long and would butt up against each other in the middle of the 19mm panel? How do I overcome this? Enjoy your Festool Live! sessions!

    • @sedgetool
      @sedgetool  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Love the vids sedge but you need new mics for that bahston accent.
    To much background noise,that or get a proper sound man in there to sort you out.
    Same with the festool live shows.
    Sorry to be that guy but the sound quality could be so much better.
    If only festool made microphones…
    Great vids and thanks for making these.
