Tricot layers in tennis shoes are prolific, there's countless versions of it but it's all the same idea to create a slick surface for your sock / foot to touch. Usually it's laminated onto foam pieces for some body.
Some of these adhesives you can strengthen by a cold press after heat as well

Please explain how you use the fusible thread to line up plaids? I have never heard of that trick.
My favourite machines are Janome. I've owned several and find them to be workhorses. I also find I get more for my money. Once you go up from the absolute basic model, the machines come with the most attachments that I do use.
Before using industrials I used almost exclusively Janome as well, I believe they have a higher ratio of metal interval parts.

I'm wondering if you have ever seen a fusable interfacing made of all cotton or all wool (plus the glue)? I started a mending business this fall and have customers that sometimes ask for all natural fiber repairs. I like to use bits of interfacing as a stabilizer for various repairs but haven't found 100% wool or cotton options.
Of course I would try Wawak, they are the most likely place to find it but due to the glue, it’ll never be 100 percent natural anyway so that is what I’d mention to a customer .
I make heirloom clothing so No fusibles! Use removable tape to hold your non fusible down! I use a 100% cotton that is made for corsets! Tough twill weave, so it doesn’t wrinkle too badly! Or a broadcloth for shirts!
Stitch Which…..When you use on a hem ….are you applying around the entire hem or can you spot use and that looks ok? I have never seen a fusible thread. Do you use it in a machine or hand application then apply steam or heat? Or the nylon self adhesive repair. Does it come in multiple colors. Could you use it on the outside of a ski jacket or pants? Awesome exposure to different materials. Big Thank You. Your channel is awesome.

What brand of seam ripper do you use?
It doesn’t really matter, they all get dull and need to be replaced at about the same rate, so I’m not really loyal to any one in particular
