She sings very well. I don't think her voice is "raspy" at all. She's got a big voice. Her only issue is her English pronunciation (e.g. "suffocaling" instead of "suffocating" in her audition), but that can be fixed.
@@c3rasis Heh. The French pronounce lone t's (like the "t" in "étouffer" or "étrangler") just fine. It's not an accent issue. (Some of them do have problems pronouncing "th" as in "the", so do the Dutch, but this isn't that.)
@@c3rasis Not all French people or Dutch people have problems with "th" either, it just depends on the person and how well they learned to speak English. (I really have no room to talk as their English is way better than my French or Dutch. :-) As for Manon, she just didn't learn how to pronounce the word "suffocating" correctly, that's all.
When you sing for so long, you can hear when someone has a good tone right when they start singing, and if you know what you're looking for its good to just go for it but yeah sometimes its a gamble
