9:40 True: Christmas celebrations were indeed banned for a time in England. By the Puritans. A group which most Americans consider heroes of religious freedom really did cancel Christmas.
I doubt that there exists an actual "double belled Sousaphone", in the sense of having two functional bells. At least one modern manufacturer, one of them in India, does make a Sousaphone with a secondary decorative/non-functional bell, but that is not the same thing. Also, putting Christmas lights on a tuba does not make them into Christmas trees. Also, TubaChristmas concert rules stipulate that any bass members of the extended tuba family are welcome, as are historical predecessors of the tuba, such as serpents and ophicleides. But other brass instruments are specifically NOT supposed to participate; bringing them makes a mockery of much that TubaChristmas stands for. So it is sad to see that "Santa" brought one of those joke instruments, a "jHorn". Shame.
Bravo!! I performed in TubaChristmas here in Washington State On Dec 7 and Dec 14. Thank you for sharing the Joy!

I have played in TubaChristmas for 30 years. I think we needed a bass singer instead of a tenor singer here. lol

allanmason, well, not, the Puritans hardly "cancelled Christmas".
