Sucks to lose that money on the shipping but the authentication program probably leads to more sales since the buyer feels more comfortable with that guarantee. Thanks for the breakdown
Great video. Quick question. I bought a pair of pre-owned shoes with authenticity guarantee and the sellers pics had only the shoes and no box. The description only says it’s worn 1x and I don’t know if it will come with a box. Is the seller required to state that a pre-owned item doesn’t come with the box in the listing even if the listing pictures don’t show the box? Will it pass authentication if it doesn’t come with the box?
It's peace of mind I guess, but as a buyer, my bought shoes are being shipped from East Coast to California, authenticated, then shipped to Florida. A 2-week delivery process!
Adam, is eBay Shoe Authentication only for Sneakers or for any shoe $75 and above, I'm new to reselling so I'm trying to get the best advice from the best.....You, great channel sir
Thank you for the video! Do you send the buyer's invoice along with the authentication? Also, do you know if they will return if there is no shoe box, even if the listing states that? Thank you for your time!
No I don’t send an invoice. And two that depends on if you list as with or without a shoebox. If you list with a shoebox and don’t send it then of course they are going to send it back because it’s not as described.
So you never really know if it was due to poor/incorrect details included in listing or authenticity? I had my first pair returned. They removed the listing after and said not to relist. Is that what happens every time or is that because the shoe was actually due to authenticity and not something else?
Then it still needs to be sent in another box. You put the shoes with the shoebox into another box so authenticity opens the outside box and receives the shoes with their shoebox in good condition
Not typically no. With newer items there’s defined markets for things so I don’t feel the need to take any less just to sell a little faster. If you’re selling used stuff there’s not as defined of markets so offers work well.
Hi , m trying to sell a brand new shoes for $94 and the blue mark authenticity guarantee did not appear on my listing . Am I good to sell it for 94 without authenticity for a less shipping cost?
You can sell them with or without. As I said in the video, its going to depend on the category you list in so if you want authenticity then sell one like this on a sold listing that had authenticity. If you dont want it then sell one like this on one that didnt have it
@@MillennialProfit I assume they just randomly check which item will they want to have the authenticity guarantee. So this is what happens to my listing. I list 2 adidas shoes with different color and size for $94. I did not choose to sell it with authenticity guarantee for both shoes. Then I list it. The next day when I check 1 of the shoes that I list it already had blue check mark and authenticity guaranteed with 14.99 shipping while the other one does not and the shipping remains the same as I set it which is 8.99.

Maybe the $15 shipping charge also covers the shipping on to the customer
Great info,Thanks.

Preowned shoes won’t come with the box unless they’re stated that they have the box
What if the new shoes didn't come with a box? Can the shoes be authenticated?
Yes just list as new without box
eBay is flagging some of my Ross n Burlington finds now saying they are counterfeit. This is a nightmare
I just commented on your other post about this.

@@MillennialProfit To be honest, I didn’t even know about Authentication until I later saw the delivery date, chil out.
Wasn’t trying to be rude, just saying that if you think it takes too long then buy a listing that doesn’t have it. That’s all.

Shoes and brands that would need authenticated that are over $75 like Nike, Adidas, Jordan, etc., not every brand
@@MillennialProfit thank you sir
@@MillennialProfitDoes Rockport need authentication???
What happens when shoes that are sent from eBay are undeliverable?
They go back to authentication then back to you I believe

what if you have no returns on the sold shoes and it doesn’t pass authentic? will it be shipped back to me?
Yep

That would be due to inauthentic most likely. I’ve never had that happen
How I list shoes without Authenticity
Because I really losing business . I lost 3 pair of shoes
I literally explained that in this video
What if there are no fedexs around me can i still go to someone else like the post office
No has to go to FedEx or a company who accepts them like some Walgreens or Pakmails do. USPS is a different company
My con: Fedex locations😂, the closest one is 25 minutes from me. Don’t understand why there’s no fedex near me😂
Oooof
Could it be possible they screwed up? Because I got some sneakers authenticated by other company but eBay said it failed
Likely was listed incorrectly. Gotta be very accurate with your listing.
What happens if I accidentally ship unauthentic(fake) shoes ?
They send them back and you can get in trouble and blocked from selling shoes on eBay.
I’m selling Kobe’s for 200 and it won’t let me do Authenticity Guaranteed.
It’s category based. If you want it, sell one like this on a sold listing that had it
@@MillennialProfit I tried that. It still didn’t work for some reason
Do I need to buy a cardboard shipping box or can I just give the original box to fedex?
For authenticity you need to ship in another box because the shoebox needs to be in good condition

@@MillennialProfit alright thank you. Do you know where to buy shipping boxes for Jordan’s?
Wherever it’s cheapest, it’s always different. ULine, Amazon, staples, etc. 16x10x6
How much for those red Reebok Airforce?
1 millllllllion dollars

Not that I’ve heard of
