Hi Diane, really enjoyed this video, as always. It’s always like wrapping a cosy blanket around me to return to your channel. I am inspired to keep on at it!
Dear Diane, thanks for showing. These are lovely vibrant colours. I love all your videos Diane and always watch them through to the end. I find your doodles very relaxing and yes the cockerels are loud but I love that and would rather listen to your animals and indeed yourself any day of the week than listen to some horrible background music 😝 ❤️
By the way, Diane, I think you are magnificent and your painting techniques are too! Your voice is so calming to me, and you are so encouraging and inspire me to want to paint more and more! Thank you for sharing your splendid talents with us here on your channel! You are one of a kind!
So helpful to see them being used. So many people just swatch and then give a ‘review’ which tells one nothing useful. Letting us watch you paint was far more useful.
They looked like wet pebbles, then, when they were first embellished, slices of exotic fruits. Beautiful paints, so enjoyable watching you work, and love your cockerel too 😁 . I watched it to the end. thank you
I love to hear Gabriel. He’s singing his praises. ..lol I so enjoy your channel and all the outside noises, especially song birds. We got hit by hurricane Michale in 2018 and all our birds were gone for years. Just started hearing them this past spring. Used to have cardinals and blue jays in my trees. I haven’t seen a cardinal since Michael.
I love hearing the song birds, rain, and even the rooster crowing in the background, Diane! Also love hearing your thoughts as you paint. Oh yes, and I love watching your painting process! Ha! I'm not a painter, myself. But I'm very tempted to branch out. I think of myself as a painter with wool (beginner) as I "paint" (wet and dry felting) with wool roving.
Oh, you’re a fibre artist - you’d find a lot of similarities and inspiration in the Kuretake paints I think. I used to create pictures using wool fleece which I dyed naturally with leaves and flowers - many years ago and I don’t do it now but it certainly was fun!
@@DianeAntoneStudio yes, a fibre artist is accurate! And you're right that there is overlap between felting and painting. In fact, I was taught (via TH-cam) by a very accomplished painter turned fibre artist who brings much of her background as a painter into her fibre art. I love that you're familiar with it and how wonderful that you grow your own wool and spin and knit as well. I recall you mentioning knitting socks. I also knit and crochet. I do enjoy your channel so much! Thank you for sharing yourself with us.
I love watching this video of a soothing meditation on color and form. I noticed your sleeve has a beautiful leaf pattern also! Inspiration everywhere!
I enjoyed this very much. I miss the sounds of my roos. I'm within city limits now, so love hearing yours. The paint is really gorgeous. Thank you for the lovely ideas and the video.
This is very therapeutic, just watching. The paints are lovely. Thanks, Diane, for making videos for us. Life is stressful and demanding right now. The videos help me relax and keep the creative spark alive when other things steal my joy.
Diane, Michael Harding was smart sending you this gift, knowing you'd be the perfect teacher. This is a great tutorial on showing off these paint colors. I appreciate that you included layering. The paints are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing Diane.
Loving the roosters in the background. Reminds me of my grandparents home, they had chickens and a rooster.❤ Now I live in a flat...😅missing the countryside
Don't worry Diane, I like your rooster. Out in the country sound, natural. Those gold accents are beautiful with those greens. I just started with collecting Michael harding paints and I'm loving them. Glad you like them too. Karen from Canada ☺☺💖💖
I've watched the entire video because of how calming it is to watch you paint. Thanks for the reminder to relax and enjoy just painting and mark-making 😊
I made it till the end 🎉, great color combination. I wish more artists would use Michael Harding. I especially like the colors that you chose. I have 4 basic colors but I could use a few more like yours ❤. Adore your rooster 😂
If you haven’t got it I suggest Aqua Green, Benzimidazolone Orange and Benzimidazolone Yellow as unusual and powerful additions to your palette! (Oh, and then all the rest… lol !)
Tricked me. Watched your Michael Harding paint video and I thought you were painting the lovely flower painting. I followed along making ovals and circles and about halfway through I thought how is this going to turn into flowers. Surprise it did not but it was fun anyway. It sometimes helps to pay attention to what you are saying!
I made it all the way through your video. I like Mark making sometimes. In fact I did my own. I like watching you too. Thank you for showing what the Michael Harding's paints look like. JK FLORIDA USA 🇺🇸
Awesome! Thank you so much for sharing and I’m so glad you got to the end of the video!! Mark making is something I wish I’d started with many years ago, but better late than never !!
I am just always amazed at the creativity you share. It must be just lovely to have all those beautiful paints sent to you. I would never stop painting.
@@DianeAntoneStudio My channel is small, but I certainly understand struggles with watch time and the YT algorithm. If I have to pause, I always come back and watch to the end. I give likes at the beginning of each video and leave comments when I can. I found your channel a couple of months ago and have been binge watching your videos. I love using pen over watercolor and really enjoy your free style of painting. I bought kuritake paints through your channel link and they just came yesterday. I'm going out of town but can't wait to try them when I get back!
I always look forward to your videos. You are inspiring to me and I love your philosophy to see things through until they are finished, I remember this when I think my painting isn’t worth finishing. It’s surprising how things turn out. ❤
Love these colors and your relaxed method of getting to know how they work. I’ve been gone for awhile and it’s so good to be back and hear your calming voice. And that glorious cockerel!!!!
Very exciting new paints, and relaxing doodles. Hi, to the boys in your garden😊. My hens are a rowdy lot, especially when the decide they want something. Finding out what that is could be a lifetimes work 😂😂

Ooh these paints look luscious! When I saw another artist try them, I added them to my Blick wish list and now you have just made me want them even more. They are not cheap though! This painting looks fun and is just my style. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Deb, the paints aren’t cheap, that’s for sure, but they are very powerful and will go a long way! I tried out the Orange Benzimidazolone and was very pleased with the way it worked on the Baltimore Oriole’s breast!
@@DianeAntoneStudio I was on the Blick web site and I saw Michael Harding's "Italian Green Umber." I think it looks amazing and would be very helpful for leaves and plants. I can hardly wait to place an order.

Well, I'm off to practice more doodles. Thanks much for sharing another lovely piece of your artwork!
Hi Kathy and thanks for the morning giggle! I’m so impressed with these paints (and how they are made) that I think I’m going to move to them as my main palette, so I’ll probably be purchasing the « missing colors » which I often use such as Van Dyke Brown and Ultramarine (which make a lovely variety of greys and greens when mixed with basic greens… I’ll be demoing that when I do a landscape using them next week. My selection so far is light on blues, so I’d probably also invest in Cobalt and Cerulean and maybe Indanthrone or Indigo. So much to choose from !!! Happy hunting x
