This is one of the best live videos I think I’ve ever seen for deathcore. The intro walk up got me hyped, the angles were fantastic throughout, the sound was solid and not muddy, absolutely wonderful job. CaliberTV out here shooting bangers

If you can do a standard false chord growl, he basically slows down the distortion rattle of it by "pushing" out his airflow slower. So instead of it being a more sand like texture to the tone it's closer to gravel. Hard to explain without examples, but I think Mark at Kardavox academy had a decent explanation of it on one of his videos covering Tom's other band he's in: Darko Us.
Holy shit that was satisfying to watch. I was unaware of the vocalist changing and damn did he come in clutch with this performance. The production of the video, the live sound, and just the pure swagger of band; made me nostalgic for that late 2000s deathcore era sound that CG were part of \m/
This has to be the best performance of Recreant that I've seen in a live video. Like, the audio engineering is immaculate. You can hear the heaviness of the chunky guitars and bass, you can feel the vibration of the monster who's on the drums (I actually don't know who's drumming for them right now but he is fucking top tier dude). Every drum fill was perfectly placed and to put the icing on the cake, Tom's vocals are at the peak of song. His vocals are fucking wretched in the best way possible and also he can do a lot of different vocal styles. I think right now, is probably their best lineup that they've had in a really long time. Don't get me wrong, I liked Alex as a vocalist and Pablo as a drummer but I think this was the most put together version of this song live that I've heard. Period. I've seen them live 3 or 4 times now and they NEVER disappoint!
Seen Chelsea back in 2014, they played nightmares, the foolish one, and a bunch of other good ones. Out standing and have been my number one favorite deathcore band of em all. Always been top tear with suicide silence and those guys. One of the best bands to ever do it hands down.

It's some kind of a fry lows (fry screams but with 'O'/smaller mouth shape). I did attempt to mimic it in my CG & Darko vocal covers.
