As much as Will Ramos is a great vocalist, I completely agree with this statement. He is significantly underrated and after seeing Lorna Shore live, I was bitterly disappointed in the quality of their live sound. I saw Tom live with Chelsea Grin and he was just fucking unreal. The quality difference was substantial. Too many people sit on trends and follow the herd. I think Tom has a very distinctive and unique voice, there is so much grit and bite to his vocal range. Would love Darko to perform live sometime, would easily go over to the States for it.

Lol josh, in an interview, said he was inspired by some of the new rappers how they can pump out multiple albums a year and how those albums have like 30-40 songs and he wants to push for that with Darko! It's so fuckin awesome
They want people to keep listening to their music, because after an month of listening to oni or dethmask pt 2, you definitely want something new, we want something new, so Josh understand that, making us fans spoiled with good music 😭
Every time I listen to “Praise The Sun” and the part where he screams “I cannot die” comes, I get some crazy chills. The vocal performance in that song is top notch
Most everything low he does sounds like a guttural/false chord hybrid. Can definitely hear the pocket of resonance being shaped by his tongue pulling back into his throat to create that “gurgle,” but it almost sounds like he’s literally projecting a false chord overlay around the constriction used to make the guttural sound. Very reminiscent of how I pull off my Alex Terrible-type lows, but I never would have thought to throw a squeal into the mix. Tom’s insane man.
Looking Glass gets me everytime. It's very heavy but the lyrics and synths almost tear me up everytime. Got me trough my depression, and still life's not easy.
I dunno why but Spite never really grabbed me. I woulda rather baby J stay in Emmure than leave for spite. Either way, Darko should be the MAIN project!

Looking Glass instantly sends me into full goblin mode. It seems like their Deathmask series is a way for the guys to maintain a baseline, but I REALLY want more Oni. Super fresh for what's generally a pretty stagnant genre.
I keep coming back to this performance, holy shit. These two are SO tight, the mixing is perfect and the camerawork really sets itself apart from most studio sessions. Incredible work.
Finally a metal artist that realizes that having fewer members is better. This is part of why every other genre has been dominating rock for decades. Rap, edm, country, pop, etc have fewer members or are completely solo acts. Bands are a thing of the past. Just as the electric guitar made full bands (20-40 members) obsolete at the start of last century, so has DAWs and backing tracks to 3-8 person bands. The more people you have, the harder it is to bite the initial overhead of touring and production. Also less morons getting in the way and being dead weight. If you want the live sound, hire a touring band once you can afford it. No reason to add this cost when you’re starting out, or during the writing process. Glad Darko is taking a note from SoundCloud. Other bands will hopefully follow suit.
