I appreciate anyone who takes the time to make videos like these and publish them. Thank you for that. But it is incredibly frustrating to watch someone at high speed push wires around while music plays with no verbal explanation whatsoever. Those of us coming at this new who crave details get nothing out of this other than thoughtful grasps at "I think that's a contactor, and of course those are circuit breakers... but what is that third contactor thing for, and why is it wired that way, and what's that other...". Man, quick verbal descriptions of what's being wired and why would improve this exponentially.
If you watch the video clearly (9:52), you can see that the two element receptacle has grounded to the post (connected to the chassis). Please understand that this video is for reference only for showing customer a general feeling of the difficult of assembly and a rough sequence of building the panel. We had updated our wiring diagram of the DIY KIT to a newer version and the video may not include all the details. Great video. I purchased the Brew Buddy II. Imagine its fairly similar but dont see video for that.
What is grounding your box/heater elements? You haven't fixed the star ground to the house ground. only the pump out is grounded
