    I have owned both a green & a blue bowl. I found that by clasifing the concentrates you lose less out of the bowl. Also if you had a ball valve & 4 or more inch extension between the valve & the bowl inlet you get more control over your current & water volume flow. The best results are obtained using a mixing tub with the bowl leveled sitting on a 5 gallon bucket in the tubto catch the black sand. The use of a 12 volt Bilge pump or a 120 volt pond pump allows you to add dish washer water conditioner to keep the flour gold from floating off into the bucket. Using the bucket to catch the concentrates let's you re-run anything that gets past the bowl. Save your concentrates and treat them to release the encapsulated gold you can't see. Note if your concentrates contain at least 10% precious metals the refiner will usually accept it all & you get maximum price for your metals. Call & verify before shipping to them.

    If you want to make a home made bowl use a cut down 5 gallon bucket of your color choice. Glue an inverted cut down funnel in the center and glue an inlet pipe into the side, sand everything to fit properly where you apply glue at. Think your project thru before you start cutting and glueing.

    I'll give you a tip on the oil pan. The ones at the Dollar Tree are the same size, cost $1, and are much better plastic than the Walmart ones. I have several dollar tree pans that have lasted me years. I've have tried the Walmart ones a few times but they always break on me in a month. Yes, I'm tough on gear. But you can buy three or four Dollar Tree pans for the cost of a Walmart pan.

      Hi it was such a longtime ago I don't remember. But by looking at it . I think it was two 2 inch PVC couplings that I put one at the bottom and one on top male and female. It work great we ended up after running all of our concentrate with 4. grams of flour gold and 3 pickers

      Thank you very much! Liked the setup, especially the flat area of the pan...looks like you can dump more concentrates into the pan! Good luck to you and yours!

    I can also be started in the other direction, and as long as there is a flow it will maintain that direction.

    Thx for your advice. Your right but it was the best we could do with what we had to work with. I did add a little brass pipe to it that sends the water more towards the side. It work fine for what it is. Can you see the gold towards the center and of tothe left side we recovered a good amount of gold for a halfdays work thx

    if you classify the material to different sizes, it will work much better. Looks like a good home-made gold bowl :)

    Let us know if you get any ideas on the best measurement on how high up to cut the whole for the hose or water speed issue, would you?

      It work best at the halfway point of the bowl. And the brass coupling is adjustable 6 more precise water flow direction

    Must be great to live in a country where you can pour water away without a care!Try saving the planet for your kids to enjoy a little bit longer and recirculate your water

    • @OverlandOne
      @OverlandOne 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @ Tony Mcculloch : Damn Dude. Where do you think that water goes? Into outer space? It goes back down into the ground and some might even evaporate...both ways are mother nature's way of recycling. Except for the very small amounts we launched into space, there is the same amount of water on the planet there has always been. You should learn something before making such a stupid and ignorant comment on a great video where a guy is making something with his kids.
