Love the video mate. I noticed for your vision screen that you had it on just a piece of alloy vertically. Would it be more practical to have it on an angle where it’s enclosed in but has ventilation holes or so to protect your wired at the back?? Especially when you’re doing corrugated tracks and things move? But love how the set up is and all the installation you’ve done.
Great vid and set up, mate. Q: and it might be a dumb question at that. I have a caravan that has the same system. But, it says the battery’s are charged at 81%. What does your display tell you? And if it’s the same, is that a Renogy “thing” or does my system have a safety feature that need to be switched off. Sorry for the question
@@JaredKnopper ran the permanent solar through the DCDC to take advantage of the back charge function. MPPT will only be used when parked up and can put a solar blanket out
How confident are you in those tiny little mounting points for the inverter? I’m about to do a similar set up and those 3mm holes via a pissy piece of plastic worry me the most
Great video mate - well done
Cheers mate

@@JustAnotherReviewwithAlek once you fully charged the battery go into the core and you can reset the battery as 100% state of charge
I'm only just 3 minutes into the video, but why do you have the dcdc mppt plus a mppt ? Wouldn't you just get a standalone dcdc charger.

@brentwismer5602 haven't seen any issues in the renogy Facebook page. Agree they feel small but no doubt will be fine
