28:38 this cracks me up, I'm the wife. I work on our canopy and my husband supports me, but I get a lot of "thats nice hun" when I add and swap things out and show him with excitement 😂
Brother, this is great! I'm just starting to build up a 4x4 and getting a service body put on. Also bought an 85L upright fridge as the first thing to go in. Great to see things like this to get some good inspiration. Great content!
Great video mate, setup is looking wicked! I could learn a thing or two from you when it comes to spreading that turf glue, your method looked a lot easier than my paint brush method 😅 (also LOVE the hidden wireless chargers, genius idea!)
Hey thanks for stopping by dude! Thanks for the inspo on the thermal liner! Still flirting with the idea of some foil board on the ply wood aswell... but do I reeeeeally need it? 😅 The wireless charging pad is 100% my favourite part, haha. Cool little party trick. Hope you're going well on the road mate and make it home safe n sound. Might catch you for a weekend camp 🍻
Fantastic video and great overall results, loved the wireless charger and just how neat and well thought out the entire project was, are you running solar panels up top too? That would give more insulation if there is an air gap underneath as well as the obvious power they supply.
Thanks Trevor, love that you can appreciate the intricacies of the fit out. I haven't put a solar panel on *yet* ... got to decide whether I want to put a tent on there or not haha. So taking my time on that, but the provisions are already there for a panel to be plug and play 🍻
Thankyou mate, much appreciated. For me the false floor is just unnecessary added weight, and wasted space. If I raised the height of the floor, I wouldn't be able to fit the kids 2x PeeWee50s inside.
Hey man, off topic question but hope you can help. What brand is the hoist in your shed and how tall is it at the highest point. I’m after a clear floor hoist but not super tall. Cheers mate
It's a Radum hoist mate, Kurt has an Atom, both are about 3750mm tall. Unfortunately all the clear floor ones are fairly tall otherwise you simply don't get the lifting height. If you're caught for altitude maybe look at a base plate 2 poster and have it sunk into the concrete so it's flush? Have a couple mates who have done that to get around the clearance issue 🍻
@@TorqHub yer all the clear floor ones are around 3650 and up. I’ve got 3500 to the gutter and 4200 to the top of the gable roof but my roof runs opposite direction to yours. Your hoist didn’t look crazy tall. Thanks for the reply man. Keep up the great work
Yeah rogie. I have 3.0 to the gutter and 4.2 to the top. Depending on the width and therefore the angle on your roof pitch you might just squeeze one in there! Would have to be pretty much smack bang in the middle though lol
@@TorqHub yer I can get one in just have to have it about half a metre off the side wall. I was hoping to get it closer because as well know theres never enough room in the shed!
@HaveACrackGarage trust me, you'll want that space off the side wall bro. As much of a waste as it seems, you'll be glad you did the first time you slide an axle out of a diff and have enough room instead of it hitting the wall and still being in the diff housing... ask me how I know 🤣🤣
Hey, some foil board in there as well would be a cheap extra layer of insulation. At Hammerbarn, it’s item number 0125955 It’s 15mm thick so will still give you an air gap behind the board.
Was originally going to use Foil Board, but that roll of thermal liner was far easier to transport 😅 I did still consider running foil board on the ply aswell, but is it really necessary at that point? I guess nothing exceeds quite like excess...

Cheers mate, get stuck in! You'll get plenty of use out of that fridge! 🍻🍻
Playing with fire doing the fourby vids. You know you are 😂 Like Scotty using a shifter on stuff.
I like them. Just happy to see some content.
Fire retardant undies are on and extinguisher at the ready! 😅 VH content is coming, I promise.

Looking forward to another podcast. The best ones are when Kurt and yourself have had a couple. You guys are on song on those occasions.
Came up well mate. Love the wireless charging mod too.
Cheers Shane 🍻 And thanks for supplying that ATG battery! I absolutely love it!
Looks good Jeff, reminds me of my mate doing subwoofer boxes with carpet and glue.
Thanks Paul, funnily enough that's where I cut my teeth on this kinda thing 😅 building subwoofer enclosures
I run 2 atg 200s in my canopy for the last couple years and can't fault them! Looks good mate 👌
Well done mate. That’s a job well done. 👍
Thanks mate, much appreciated 🍻
some great ideas there mate, keen to see the wagon and vk again.
Great to see some more vids, while off road/4wd isn't my bag it's still a good vid.
Cheers
Appreciate that mate, especially when it's not really your jam 🤙🏻
That was good. Now do a 40 minute video on the VH please 😊
I reckon I'll be limiting the number of 40min videos I make myself edit 😅 We may have to negotiate 2x 20min videos instead
@@TorqHub that’ll satisfy us hungry little gremlins 😂
Great setup mate, well done 👍

awesome work mate, im wondering why you didnt go for a false floor?
