"This hurt my foot" Finally the rugged phone I've been asking for, doubles as a blunt weapon for post apocalyptic scenarios. A true every situation device
I have Tank 3 Pro too. And it is hands down an absolute buy recommendation. The coolest phone that i have ever had. So jam packed with cool and mostly unique features. Great informative review.
it's missing a diesel emergency generator and i'd love if it could charge my tesla, other than that it's a pretty sweet little phone. for real now, that was a great review!
Wait a minute...that hazard mode would be really helpful if you are in danger and someone is trying to threaten you. If you play that alarm while being pursued or someone is breaking in, it could scare the threat away or make them hesitate.
Project 8849, seriously though, I absolutely love this thing even though I'll never own it as I have 0 real need for it. So awesome though, more of these kinds of crazy gadgets please! Also a preppers dream😂
I forgot my Tank 3 Pro phone on top of my car, and while I was driving, it fell off. My car is 2 meters high, and I was going at about 110 km/h. I saw something spinning very fast behind my car but didn't realize it was my phone until I stopped to check. Indeed, it was my Tank 3 Pro. Was it damaged? Yes, it had a few scratches and the projector glass was broken, but the phone was still working perfectly. Please don't try this yourself; it was super dangerous. It could have ended badly if it had hit another car. Don't leave your belongings, especially your phone, on top of your car. I just wanted to share this to demonstrate how durable this phone is. It’s literally as tough as a rock.
I got the tank 3, regular version. It's a beast. 666 grams of phone. Aaaand I use it as my regular phone. I game. I game a lot. At any opportunity. And I was tired of running out of battery. My last phone I had to charge it at least one time in the middle of the day or at least late afternoon. Well, no more of that with this beast. It's clunky. It's heavy. I had to spend two weeks getting used to the weight. But no more charging in the middle of the day. 20%? Great, still have battery to play for 4 or 5 more hours!
I REALLY WANT ONE, WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOURS AND THIS "PRO"???? - Please, and also-: can you switch your dial sim card from a moto 5G 2023 stylus into it and also download everything??? it how would you download stuff? @@Bones-uu6zp Heya Bones, the major difference is the projector and 300 grams more of weight. To be honest I wouldn't go for the pro version unless you are sure you'll use the projector a lot. Like I said previously this guy is a beast. 2 weeks just to get used to the weight. With 300 grams more it's almost 1Kg of phone. Regarding the SIM, it's pretty much take it out of the Moto and put it on the new phone. Regarding the apps, if you have a Google account you can basically back it up on the Google account (including WhatsApp conversations) and when you link the new account on the new phone you can download everything. Took me around 2 or 3 hours to get this phone with everything my previous had. Afterwards you just need to do all the logins on the apps/games again. I believe there are some videos on TH-cam showing all this process. Hope that helps.
Your balanced approach to using words and understanding the potential use of gadgets reminds me of where MKBHD used to be. Gosh you deserve a huger (more biggish?) audience. It really hits home for me. No this gadget is not for me, but I dig that there are people out there who need this and can get it. I agree with your attitude towards this device.
It's funny that with how the cost of phones get higher every time the next model comes out - there still isn't that the ULTIMATE do everything phone yet.
I like that there's competition and different phone manufacturers can focus on different features, but I'd love to see a "back to basics" phone, like an XPERIA (with a better headphone jack and memory card) with an easily replaceable battery, but also with top of the line camera hardware and a good productivity features like a desktop mode. That would do it for me. I'd spend a LOT on that phone.
11:24 THANK YOU, FINALLY SOMEONE WHO ACKNOWLEDGE'S THOSE PHONE'S TO BE THE BEST, AND I STILL AM SALTY THAT THEY CANCELLED THAT LINEUP, JUST IMAGINE A RUGGED ACTIVE VERSION OF THE S24 ULTRA! ❤❤❤

I use to be a Scout as well , I think that's why I'm intrigued by this device,I couldn't help but notice, they sell protective cases for it, why??? If it's a rugged phone, and I think it's the only rugged phone with a protective case , great video
if they put a better screen & camera flagship killer sensors with OIS & 5x zoom telephoto (& gcam supports with official or user uploaded Sites for config XML) which altogether may won't cost more than 50-60$, they could sell it for 150$ more. of course a better speaker setup is appreciated too
For those of us who missed the projector phone when Samsung stopped making it, and wished it had enough battery to run that projector for a useful amount of time. That would be an awesome thing to bring to a camp-out on the beach. Stream Netflix on a blanket at night while having a few beers.
I bought a Sonim XP10 last year. I made a mistake in buying one off Ebay and it didn't have a warranty. I have dropped it going 30 mph on my ebike and it was fine. Until I dropped a bottle of calogne on it and the screen cracked(my mistake on not using screen protectors) if I can't replace the screen I think my next phone looks like it will be a Tank 2.
