Every time I hear that Coldplay Clocks song.... for nearly 2 decades... My head pops in the opening intro to this Series. Scenes of Chicago and Old Wrigley Field and the Cubs in the playoffs. Thank you so much for posting this. Though this series ended in heartbreak that wouldn't get repaired until 2016, it still has great memories of a crazy exciting time for us Cub fans. Not to mention probably the loudest that ballpark ever cheered for a home run. It was shake the earth ROARING!!!!!!!!
You can feel how aggressive this Cubs crowd was in 2003. They booed Mark Guthrie in the top of the 11th for allowing the go ahead HR. What a toxic response. Bartman deserved better. This crowd never deserved these Cubs.
Wanted to watch this for that 9th inning. Single ticket, my first Cubs postseason game at Wrigley. Remember almost spraining my ankle jumping around, hugging random people. My next playoff games were Games 6 and 7 of the 2016 WS, so I had a happy ending.
A classic game. Interesting and sad how the poll question about who had better young pitching would pan out. Wood/Prior vs AJ and Josh. Thanks for the upload

Still my favorite playoffs. Upset the Braves in 5. LCS and ACS with Yanks Red Sox. Dream series, Cubs vs Sox to break their curses. Something to be said about the field of dreams. 2016 got the Cubs the ring but the turn around happened all too fast. They bought it. On a separate note I can't stand the blue uniforms, they look like spring training uniforms.😂
I'm not sure if some team has overcome this, but Steve Rosenbloom (Chicago Tribune) wrote that no team that has ever blown a lead of at least four runs in a postseason game and lost that game has ever gone on to win that same series. Cubs up 4-0 after 1.

Well even though, Dusty Baker never got a ring with the Cubs, he finally won a real World Series ring with the Astros, we felt proud for him, anyway. #LessonLearned.

hey there, just wanted to let you know the 2008 rays blew a 7-0 lead in game five of the alcs and still won the series. Hope that helped.
