Digital image is great but alas out of my budget. Commendable driving! You really can't see far enough ahead at those speeds and "altitude". Thanks for sharing!
Nice one brother! What remote are you getting for this next? Maybe try an aircraft receiver? And also use lipo for the transmitter. And then boost the signal with a more powerful antenna!
I've already pre-ordered a Radiomaster MT12 (with ELRS) and it should arrive soon as shipping starts today. 🙂 At home i saw that the wheel alignment was weird, no wonder that the steering was so over reactive. But FPV driving really is a lot of fun. 😁
Yes, that's one of the hottest radios now. Should be good! I initially had problems with alignment as well but I think it was because I didn't bother with repairing the crooked suspension! So be good to inspect that or maybe just get a receiver with gyro?
@@uncleraymond Suspension looks good to me. First thing I did was to raise the car and level out the shocks; even w/ the additional load of the FPV gear the car was too springy. I'll try the reveiver that comes w/ the MT12 first, I think it has no gyro. I think my new setup and a more precise radio will help a lot.
@@NUeB_RCFPV oh I’m sure you’ll figure a way out bro. Or you can consult one of those ultra long range FPV TH-cam videos, there are some FPV dude with a car that can drive far out, really far out…
I had that same car it's hard to keep straight but fast as hell I had the walksnail system hooked up to in with the camera on the inside incase it flipped or run in a puddle
Can you make a video on how you’re powering the O3 unit? I have an RC and I want to get the same set up but haven’t figured out to how to power the camera.
Wow ! Je cherche depuis des semaines pour trouver comment utiliser le air unit o3 car j’ai déjà les lunettes goggle 2 , de quoi j’ai besoin pour avoir le même système que toi ??
Very simple: - Goggles 2 (now with TrueRC directional antennas) - DJI O3 air unit + "Arduino ARM" github.com/ramiss/arduino_DJI_03_RC_ARM - servo parallel to steering fir tilt - a 5V fan some 3d printed parts to mount the stuff www.printables.com/model/660115-dji-o3-fpv-kit-for-rc-car-freecad-updated
Yes, the O3 air unit has DJI's "rocksteady" automatic image stabilization (AIS). 00:00 to 00:11 you see the live feed recorded in the goggles without AIS and from 00:11 on how much smoother the footage recorded by the air unit is. At 03:35 there is a transition from stabilized footage back to goggles view. So while riding on bumpy paths, the live stream is quite shaky - but I can cope with that. And this is a small 1/12 car, that jumps at every little pebble… Pretty sure that I will get a bigger car too; but this is a good (cheap) start and easy to transport.
Depends heavily on which car platform you choose. A car like like this: DIY for about 400 Euros; my big one did cost more that 1000. Plus radio (150), plus FPV goggles (600). Analog FPV is much cheaper, but *I* don't want analog any more; started with that a decade ago.
Some 230 m in the neighborrhood th-cam.com/video/E-TPg4_LDn0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=toCbOpVWsH8dTIN2&t=235 - and even more in the flat field. With the other car I got up to 700 m in the fields.

Truly nice 3D printed stuff for RC cars!🎆

Just connect the red & black wires from the air unit to the battery.

Where can I buy ?
What remote did you order?
How is kilometre range video transmitter and receiver
That's very much dependant on the obstrusions… without any it's multiple km.
You get the 03 air unit out from low power mode?
Yes, with a tiny arduino board. Please see the comments of @junebugpetty7386 & myself on this video: th-cam.com/video/E-TPg4_LDn0/w-d-xo.html
p. s.: check also Chadd's device if you don't like to tinker around w/ arduino and stuff yourself: th-cam.com/video/oo12suu8jPc/w-d-xo.html
You can disable it and the air unit will go full power even without arm cmd

That MT12 transmitter is awesome, I have it too and the range is insane lol, and for the price it can't be beat
Camera name and link please
Camera is DJI O3. What link are u lookin for?
Cloud rc streamer is much cooler than this 👍🏻
