Oooh...I loved all the haul! My mom and I leave in two and a half weeks to attend a workshop at the Silver Needle, and now I think I might need to get a loan before I go!

I had to chuckle as I took a trip to see Ree and stopped at Silver Needle and Shepherd's Needle on the way back to Alabama. I took the same picture of the barn you showed that was located near Pawhuska. I guess Stitchers think a like. My husband was very sweet to let me take time to shop at both needlework stores. I loved the Mercantile too....the lodge was grand. It wa a great trip all the way around. I tool a photo of Ree's eight Kitchen aid mixers for my blog.. It is Nanaland if you would like to check it out. I just post stitching updates on Saturdays.

I live in a suburb of Tulsa and was tickled when you ladies thought we had dry heat. I always thought of it as high humidity! I have a friend who lives in CO close to the desert and they have dry air so she always complains how humid it is here when she comes. We have had a hot summer though! Glad you enjoyed yourselves and found lots of projects to bring back home to work on.
Lol. If you ever visit LA you will understand why we thought it was dry heat. So glad you found us. We had a great time in Tulsa. Enjoyed the people. Thank you for your support. Tina
@@Stitchingwithmybestie haha, not really! we actually drove to Florida back in May for a family vacation to Disney. I thought I was about to die in that heat by the end of the week and it hadn't rained at all in 2 days :-D

It was so nice meeting the 4 of you at the stitchy room at the hotel. The retreat was so much fun. I can’t wait till next year. Silver Needle really spoiled us.
