Circa 1970's motorcycles are the GOAT. I wish the manufacturers would bring them back. I had a 1974 DT125 with the low fender and luggage rack. Exactly like the one in the video. Bought it used for $400.00 in 1975. It was a great bike. Moved to a 1976 Suzuki TS125 from there. Another great bike. I just relived ages 11 through 18 and all the 1970's motorcycles I owned, beginning with the 1973 Yamaha DT80 and ending with the 1979 Suzuki GS1000. Great Video! 🙂
Thanks! I think the bikes of the 70s had the best lines and attention to detail too. All the manufacturers were battling each other which made it best for the consumer whereas today it seems like the Japanese companies are on cruise control and KTM owns the rest aside from Beta which are doing their own thing with a bunch of bikes to choose from which is cool.

Looks like a Great event ,plenty to see and do .👍 that's a couple of decent projects you picked up look forward to see them getting a going over.Those swap meets look great places to pick stuff up.😁
Video just doesn’t do it justice! I found all the parts that Suzuki was missing the same day I bought it just by hunting them down at the swap meet! Also found turn signals for the MT250 that I’ll be working on next. Beats paying eBay prices!
The XL350 is nice. If I lived in the States I'd have a Can Am 250 collection. So many great bikes there. Later PE250's are the best. That model TS has a carby o ring which makes the engine run like the choke is on, when it breaks. If it stops when it's warm, that's the sign.
@@Garage2Trail I was an apprentice mechanic in a Suzuki dealership when these came out. Assembled and ridden many 185s. I prefer the 250 because it's physically a bit larger and a bit more powerful but the smaller TS are pretty good.
Awesome channel, just subscribed love the older bikes. I have a 74 DT360 still like it rolled from the factory, also a 73 Suzuki GT 380 that my brother bought new and a 85 Honda GoldWing limited edition!! Keep up the great work love watching the bikes.
Awesome, I’m really glad you enjoy it! I try to mix it up, but I always emphasize on the older bikes. I’m working on a video right now where I ride a ‘75 DT250 on some fairly technical trails to show how capable these bike still are. Should be out in a few days. I love my DT360…so smooth and so much torque. Great for road riding!

My daughter lives in Cleveland so always combine with a visit/road trip, always a good weekend but tiring having no pit bike to get around, I stay in Mansfield. Did Wauseon the weekend before this time, unfortunately the weather spoiled that one.

Thanks for watching! I’ve only heard of a couple instances when something has been stolen…most people look out for each other there. I think it usually happens at night in the camp area but it’s not a regular occurrence from what I gather. I normally get a hotel nearby and lock my bikes up on a trailer and cover them up.

Good info, thanks for sharing! I’ll keep that in mind when I get around to working on that TS. Also just recently picked up a 1980 TS185 as well.

I'm 50yrs old and have lived in the Cols area my whole life.. I just can't think of a motorcycle dealer named that..especially for Yamaha.

The actions of a few? How dare those people get in an accident and get hurt
It was fine for years until drunks on golf carts and quads ruined it.
Did you sell the dt250 then, for how much?
No I sold the DT125B for $1000. I like that 250 too much to sell
