Excellent video Homer! Very helpful! You reminded me to top dress again. You are helping growers understand that compost, leaf mold, rock dust, bone meal, blood meal, kelp, worm casting fertilizers are creating long term health. Versus chemical fertilizers that actually kill soil life and eventually seriously wound anything growing in dead soil.

Thanks so much! I was wondering about your cover crop. I saw your clover and planted it. It helped me know when to water and I killed less plants from overwatering by watching when the clover rooteroopedd a little. I am overjoyed you are posting again. I watched your update video 3 times and have saved it to watch many more times.
Yes I loved cover crop but I had no way to terminate it successfully. I thought about it hard at the start of the season. It def has more benefits to it. Make sure to chop and drop before it flowers. Thanks for the support!!

I didn't catch how often you top dress. And then how often do you fertilize?
I top dress the first of the month. And fertilizer twice a week. Minimum once. It’s been raining a lot here in June and July so far.

@@FC2ESWS u wanna stop around July to get the branches to stop growing and focus on lignification of the branches. Top dress when you put them to sleep so they wake up w energy.
