Hey Dan! Just catching up here as I wasn't able to watch live. Really looking forward to getting stuck into this course and hoping to learn some new tricks for my volunteer work as a social media manager for a local animal sanctuary. Thanks so much for the shout-out as a Community Champion, too! :D
Hi Dan! You are a wonderful instructor. I have been a graphic designer for over 30 years I use Adobe but I have been using Canva for small projects, it’s a great tool, I will definitely be taking your course!
I've done Photoshop and Illustrator on BOYL - regular and advanced. Would you recommend doing In Design first before doing Canva or Canva first? Right now, I don't have any work applications just learning the skills.
How long did you take the Photoshop and Illustrator course? Also, same. I don't have any work applications yet too, I want to learn the skills first. 😊
I don’t really remember how long it took me to if you look at the online you can see how much time each video takes and add up all time times. I either dedicated one video a day or one theme how he group things. Sometimes when I had more time I binged watched them. Hope that helps. I did not track it on my calendar.
It probably depends on what kind of work you want to get into. If you're looking to get into publishing then you should probably consider InDesign. If you're thinking more about social media jobs then definitely Canva!
I'm interested in doing trivia questions with mixed up formats (multiple choice, fill-in-blank) with difficulty adjustment levels. Will your course teach me how to do this on Canva? If so, in what section?
@@BringYourOwnLaptop There is no good options available on market so I thought this would be a better opportunity for you as well as for me to learn it from you!

Dan did you make the shirt in Canva? Amazing video as well! I learned to code from you when we did the Adare restaurant!
Yes I made it myself! Awesome to hear you learned to code, good on you :)
