    Great cook as ever Tom! I was a little underwhelmed with the Tomahawk I did, but that was reverse seared, might try this method 👍

    Looks great. I normally use the reverse sear as it’s more idiot proof, but need to give this method a try!
    What temp did you have in the dome?

      Temp as 250c ish.
      It's certainly no harder the reverse sear of fact easier to not over shoot. As the end of the is more controlled. Let me know how you get on

      Personally I have issues with beer can chicken. Firstly the fact that beer can is generally covered with a plastic coating on the outside with the branding and even if its not a plastic coating there is generally a plastic coating on the inside of the can as well. Secondly the fact that by the time the beer has got to boiling point to flavour the chicken the internal temperature of the chicken would be far higher than desired.
      If you did want to go down this route then I would suggest a chicken roaster.
      Personally I prefer either spatchcocking or take a piece of fruitbI would generally pick an orange, stab and boil this for a few minutes so it's internal temperature is high and put this into the cavity of the duck the flavour the duck with orange flavour

    I cant private message so apologies. This is my own personal opinion. I'm sorry, Tom, I enjoy the thought of your content and want to watch. However. Your grill grates are covered in the last cook and it proper puts me off. I'm sure you wouldn't cook a steak indoors in a frying pan then fry your sausages in the dirty pan the next day. Why don't you scrub your grates after a cook with foil or a brush? Am I missing something?

      I do scrub them mate after every cook with Foil then half lemon and foil before the next cook. I don't use a brush as they are not safe.
