had the main dampner go out on a 990 within 300hrs only thing holding it together was 1 spring before it grenaded. first one i ever had go out. had a hard time figuring out what was wrong with it.
I’ll be honest I’m the last person to believe in snake oil And I can’t say I have experience trying it on claas gear boxs but on our sprayers we had gear box failures, well bearing failures. We switched to frontier lubricants and knock on wood all is well, i’m sure now saying this tomorrow we will lose a box haha

I use a Scherer processor. When they put it in it has bearing temp sensors on the KP, blower and the cutter head. Helps with fire danger.

How does claas compare to the Deere in running cost. Seems like the claas seems to take a lot of maintenance compared to the Deere from my experience.
Deere has more of a upkeep in our experience

Did you ever try to demagnetize the roller with a demagnetizing tool ?
No
You should ask your dealer about communing out with the tool the should have it. If the don’t Claas have one that the can rent!
We have tried it.. did work for about one day of chopping
