I see so much of myself in you. I have been a special education teacher in various capacities for nearly 20 years. We adopted a 10 year old from Foster care about 6 years ago. For me it got to a point I had to really change the way I did my job and the types of special education that I am able to do because foster care adoption as you will see is not for the faint of heart. I am on the other side of it and I still love teaching kids and my daughter is 16. We have been through so much but to this day I have to set limits so I can both be the best mom I want to be and the best teacher I want to be. I will be praying for you and your family.
