Ingredients: 4 peeled and cored apples (honey crisp or granny smith) tossed with lemon 1 1/4 cup of flour 1/2 cup milk 1 egg 1/4 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp sea salt 1/8 tsp nutmeg 1/2 tsp vanilla 2 whipped egg whites with a little bit of lemon 1. slice apple into 1/4 in to 3/8 in disks 2. sift flour into bowl and combine all ingredients except for egg whites 3. fold in egg whites 4. bring oil to 375 F or until batter sizzles 5. submerge apples in batter and fry until brown 6. cover in sugar and cinnamon
