Hi Joe, I am Syracuse born and raised and remember the man at the State Fair who made apple fritters in the Foods Building. You may be too young to remember him but I will never forget how good they were. They were very similar to yours..It was my "MUST" stop at the Fair..Thanks for the recipe...

Thanks to your grandmother who inspired you to cook all the old recipes so they are not lost. And it looks like she inspired you, and you inspired the next generation , your son, to cook too. And thanks
for giving us so many fun things to cook during this quarantine.

I could swear I've cooked for a wacky family a few times in that very same kitchen in North Toronto! At least the identical layout, counter and colour scheme 🤔☺
Thanks for sharing your nonna's method and for tickling my sense of Déjà vu!

Would it mess up the recipe if I use lactate milk? (lactose free for the lactose intolerant)

Did I miss what type of apple you recommend? I love Honeycrisps, but are they too sweet for this? Lookin' good Joe.

Pierre Azzopardi Ingredients are in the video. I am listening to the ingredients and quantity right now. He says it slow enough to be able to write it down while watching.
