Can you explain the faulting and erosion of the syncline in regards to E? The way you described it seems like it would fit an anticline rather than a syncline....wouldn't the side of the fault that dropped down be broader as the upper portion erodes to the same level (deeper in the "U" shape, which is more narrow)?
