Also, I did notice an error toward the end of the video, in terms of the price of the MOB Hyaluronic Highlight Balm (on the product slide). It is actually $26, not $18. I do think it is still a good price considering the quality of the product!

Your videos are a wealth of information especially since i have super sensitive skin and i also try to avoid toxic and harmful ingredients. You mentioned teflon in one of these and i was shocked that would be an ingredient.
A lot of palettes that are still on the market were created a number of years ago and do have Teflon in them. This includes some of the earlier palettes from companies like Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona, for example. And Melt. I haven't seen too many eyeshadow palettes developed in the past 3+ years or so that have had Teflon, so apparently companies are moving away from that. But with the older ones, they either are reluctant to change the formulas for successful products or are just selling off the old inventory, I guess. I'm glad you are liking the videos! ❤
Thank you Lisa. I'm still shocked about the teflon. Not happy about aluminum either. I took a metals test recently by using my hair roots and my aluminum level was pretty high. I would love to see a video about "clean" or "non toxic" cream and stick eyeshadows. Credo does not have a good selection of those.@@lisapetrison-beautyreviews

Cream/stick eyeshadows are discussed in my "Absolute Favorite Makeup Video" and there is a slide that lists all the products that I have tried and which ones I have liked, at around 31:30. I have since tried the new Surratt Souffle Eyeshadows and did also like those, even though most of the Surratt products have problematic ingredients. I am planning to do a video on Surratt at some point in the near future.

I’m ordering a Mob taupe eyeshadow and hope it works . Got the RDF mascara and it’s pretty good. I should’ve bought a cream mob instead of their powder !!
Did you try their powder eyeshadow already? I think the formula is quite good, compared to other powder eyeshadows that I have tried. Please let us know how you do with the cream clay one! ❤

I've had my Kosas powder for about two years and it still smells fine to me. I do see sunflower seed oil (which does have the potential of going rancid) way down at the bottom of the ingredient list, but it would seem the amount is very small. The main oil in it is jojoba, which seems much more stable. Oddly, the bronzer (which seems like it should be similar to the setting powder) does have an odd smell, even when the product has just come into stock from the factory, and so I'm not sure what that is. But I have never felt like the setting powder had any scent at all. I'm so happy that you have found my channel useful! ❤
I did think a Kosas powder had gone rancid, but then another Kosas powder smelled similarly, so it might just be how it smells. (I don’t care for that smell, though.)

@@ellenredden3341 Yeah, I really miss Vapour. It is so sad that they are no longer around! I haven't seen too many videos comparing powders on TH-cam and so I should work on one at some point, I guess. 💗
I like the idea of MOB, but they are way too expensive. $18 for a small skinny eyeshadow? No thanks. I have been using MAC for years and find the the prices for their palettes and eyeshadow singles to be more affordable. Refillable palettes are the way to go. How many of us have pre-made eyeshadow palettes where 2 to 4 of the shadows are empty because they are our most used colors, and the rest sit unused. With MAC I can buy replacements of my favorite shades for only $8 - $11 and just pop the new pan in the palette. The $18 price for MOB is just not cost effective.
Those palette refills from MAC are a really good deal - I had never noticed those before on the site. The MOB powder shadows are actually $16, which is a lot less than the regular price of MAC shadows in a case, and the price of a filled palette is comparable. And the size is the same (both have 1.5 g of product).. But the shadow refills from MAC are quite inexpensive, apparently offered to maintain the goodwill of makeup artists, and they offer a LOT of colors. I do have one of those custom palettes that I put together and I do really like it (and have tolerated it fine). MOB shadows do not have talc (which matters to some people), and I think they perform at least as well or maybe better, and their environmental focus is a plus. But when it comes to price, MAC does seem to offer an advantage in terms of the refills, I agree. ❤
