There is an athlete who was unable to get her pole for the pole vault final, I believe. .
Scoring needs to be correct first time round and it would avoid this type of situation.

Not Barbosu but Voinea was stripped of a bronze medal! They wrongfully penalized her for landing with the foot out of the carpet but it was not true. The internet is filled with pics of her foot always been inside the carpet. The judges never released the photo they say had and used for that penalty because most certainly there is NONE!
We can clearly see that it is a high level when we talk about the athletes...Unlike judges, who shouldn't even be refereeing a soapbox race

They may need 1 hour to verify deductions before announcing final scores. They should give preliminary scoring allow teams to verify scoring then give final scores.

She didn’t deserve it she and her stupid ass mom said Jorden had a Two second out of the one minute I hate Romania jorden literally is having a mental breakdown because she got home and then after she got home they had to give her medal that stupid as cry baby from Romania didn’t even get the medal so and also we Jorden would have won if the beam was normal i don’t like Romania anymore
She wasn't stripped of the bronze medal. She never won it in the first place.
Dude you know nothing... that right there was a robbery... Not just for Ana Barbosu, but especially for Voinea...
Both romanian gymnasts had a better excercise then Chiles... but Chiles cried about it and made a contestation (that also was 1 min to late) and her score was increassed...
What you didnt know was, that Voinea actually was deducted 0.1 points for a NON existant mistake that the judges claimed she had... aka, they said her toe was outside the marked floor... wich the replays clearly showed that was not the case... not only that, but when the romanian gymnast filed a contestation (similar to what Chiles did) the judges didnt want to consider it...
If that doesnt scream ROBBERY ai dont know what is...
Voinea finished with 13.700 after deduction when she shouls have had 13.800,
Ana Barbosu score was also 13.700 and Jordon Chiles score was 13.666 but after her late contestation her score was 13.766...
That was simply disgusting to watch.. how Ana Barbosu, live on TV, was stripped of her bronze medal given then to Chiles who cried for a score increase...
But dont you worry... TAS already informed the public that Jordon Chiles will be stripped of her bronze medal and given to Voinea...
Voinea's final score will be 13.800 because her deduction was wrong...
Ana Barbosu score will remain 13.700 getting her 4th place
And Jordon Chiles, if her contestation will remain, then her score will be 13.766 getting her the 4th spot... but most likely, her contestation will not be approved because she submited it 1 min to late... so her final scor will be 13.666 placing her in 5th place... whe she trully belongs... her excercise was not better then Ana Barbosu or Voinea's...
Lol if chiles did won it the first place then her score wouldve been higher, They just cant accept the fact that romanias was better than them.

She is NOT millionaire athlete but someone who performed a much more difficult routine who deserves the bronze over Romania but when you're a crybaby country you get your way
