i am a dogs supporter and this grand final is truly the perfect Grand Final
As much as i want the dogs to win this there is no other team i would rather lose to than Melbourne

I reckon Grand final medals should be handed to an entire squad & coaching staff because they've all contributed in the journey in some fashion

Exactly codes around the world do this the afl continues to have a backwater mentality. Look when Andrew Gaze played in the nba for the spurs in 1999. Played 19 games out of 82 season games yet was awarded a championship ring
@@alexanderthegreat3 That medal was more or less for Gaze's lifetime of devotion to the game. An AFL player who's recovering an ACL injury; fringe or rookie players who have not contributed all season do not deserve medals. Why would they?
You have to admit that the rule makes for great storylines in footy folklore, though. The Bob Murphy moment from 2016 makes for a beautiful narrative in our game's history.
Well it was the best possible matchup, props to doggies but this demons side is just on a whole other level and I dont know a team that wouldve done better than doggies tonight
It would be great to see the demons break the premiership drought, as a Lions supporter I know all about it.
I’m a doggies supporter but am also really happy for the demons IF dogs lose I won’t be completely devastated. Dogs pretty much got to the granny the hardest way possible.

@6:50 -- as it turns out, May's hamstring WAS torn, 6cm tear showed up in the scans, any other round of football he would have been on the sidelines for 4-6 weeks ... but he went on and played in the grand final regardless
Great final with the two best teams and up to the half way in the third quarter was any body's cup, but then Melbourne when MAD. Congratulations to both teams, as Melbourne supported in the worse time of the club I'm enjoying this,
GO DEES. These two teams are potential dynasties, expect many more finals battles between the two over the next five years
Nathan Jones deserves a spot in that team. He was the most consistent player for so long and i'm sure he's contributed to the current results of the team.
Plus Bulldogs have had the umpires push them to this grand final, just like how they won the 2016 Grand Final with constant free kicks.
Hopefully Melbourne lay a few blows in there with some early goals. Go Melbourne!

@@countryroadstakemehome yeah fair shout, I’m a dogs supporter and after rewatching the grand final I realised that some of the free kicks weren’t there, but shouldn’t discredit the win. Same thing this final series. Umpires didn’t push us to this grand final, they worked extremely hard to get to that position, and umpiring sure was a factor, just like any other game, but it wasn’t them that pushed us to the grand final.
I have a feeling Bulldogs are going to shatter the hearts of the Dees, by a lot.

I still haven't forgotten that Robbo said that Melbourne played like smart arses when they lost the Queen's Birthday match against Collingwood. My thoughts at the time were "Shut up Robbo, this was Nathan Buckley's last match as Collingwood's coach, this match was like a Grand Final for them. At least Melbourne have still got a very good chance to play in a real Grand Final at the end of the season, something that Collingwood aren't going to achieve. I don't think that anyone will be talking about them playing like smart arses in a mid-season loss to Collingwood on Grand Final Day if they get there." So far this week I haven't heard a single word uttered about that Collingwood loss.

We had plenty of chances to put the dogs away, didn’t take them. Yes umpiring could have been better but we were own worst enemies, can’t waste chances in close finals like that.
I think Jason is better on AFL 360 then he is on that stupid program called Bounce
